Shopped here 2 years ago and customer service was great (because they had my item in stock). 2nd time coming here (within the last 3 months) was extremely disappointing. I’m not upset they didn’t have my furniture it in stock, I’m upset that no communication about my delivery date. Went in 9/9/23 and was told it would take 2-3 weeks to deliver and there was a “rush” on the furniture. Called on 9/23/23 (2 weeks later) and was told it would be in 10/10/23. Called 10/10/23 and said it would be in 10/24/23). Absolutely ZERO communication about change in delivery. I will say, they did offer me to come in and select something else when I called on 9/23/23 but I declined because I would rather wait another week and a half for what I originally selected. Offered me a “rental” on 10/10/23 that the spokesperson had to “talk to the manager about, and would give me a call back tomorrow after 1 pm”. SHOCKER…she NEVER called me back, and I had to reach back out on 10/11/23 (the same day that she said she would call me but never did). They offered to “send me a picture of a similar item that can be delivered sooner” (which I’m assuming is because they didn’t want to lose their sale) but I told them, verbatim, “I already shopped for the product I wanted, I don’t want a picture because aesthetic is not what I’m going for, it’s the comfort and feel, and frankly, I don’t have time to come into their warehouse and look/test out products that I’ve ALREADY LOOKD AT AND TESTED OUT. I chose what I did because I liked it. You all didn’t communicate with me, that’s the issue I have and why I will be taking my money somewhere else.” Called to cancel my order 10/13/2023 as I went with another company who has PHENOMENAL communication skills. Was told I would receive and email from the financing company another SHOCKER…NEVER did receive that email. Will be calling this store back tomorrow at 10/14/2023.
UPDATE 10/20/2023. My salesperson, Domingo, contacted me 10/14/2023 to ask about this review. I told him "maybe I'll take it down it it once I got my cancellation information from the financing company, which he said would "take a couple of days". My partner and I got a missed call from this store on 10/15/2023, but no voicemail was left. Naturally, we didn't call back. If you have important information for someone, leave a voicemail stating to call back, right? I called the store yesterday 10/19/2023 and happened to get Domingo on the line who said "I've been trying to contact you for the past couple of days" (calling both numbers on file, and not leaving a voicemail DOES NOT mean you have been trying to contact me for "the past couple of days. You tried 2 times, left ZERO voicemails, and waited for me to reach out to you all once again.) Personally, if I was trying to "reach out to someone for the past couple of days", I would call multiple times. While on the phone with Domingo, he told me the financing company "doesn't send out emails to cancelled orders, but I can send you a picture of the voided invoice." I said that was fine, picture was sent about 2 hours later. I told him I would update my review once I get home (please keep in mind this conversation with Domingo occurred 10/19/2023). This is the part that really gets me: As I am on my way to work today 10/20/2023, I get a text message from Domingo asking me if there is anything else he can do to get my review taken down. I promptly told him (and this is verbatim) "I haven't had time to go in. I got home at 2 am to turn around and wake up for work at 6 am, been working ever since. I think its very telling how you all can communicate with a bad Google review but not when I was prepared to give you 1,000+ dollars. You have been very nice and helpful but I will do it on my own time." I stand by EVERY SINGLE thing that I messaged to Domingo, and wrote in this review. I do think Domingo is nice, but i also think he just wanted a sale. Read moreUpdate: After going in several times, being lied to by multiple people. Even being told by Jose that he can pull strings that none of the other people could (obviously NOT)! I finally received my couch and love seat. My missing nightstand was brought but had scratches all over it. After writing this review, the manager Joe contacted me and handled my order. He is the only person that followed through and kept his word. Even if things didn’t come when expected, at least he took the time to contact me and let me know what was going on. That’s all I ever wanted in the first place CUSTOMER SERVICE! For that alone, I do give them 3 stars instead of 1. If you do decide to shop here, do yourself a favor and just ask for Joe!
I wish there was a way for me to put 0 stars. I bought and paid for furniture in full in July. I was told that my furniture would be delivered to me within 3-6 weeks. Here we are December 22nd and I still do not have the items I paid for. I understand that the furniture is coming from a different warehouse/company, however, I did not pay the other company. I paid my money in full directly to this company. I have had no customer service at all from the very first time that I was lied to. I am the one stuck calling, and making trips to the location only to find out that the information I was given was a complete lie. The very last time I made a trip to the location, I was told in my face by the location manager David that my items were guaranteed to be delivered on 12/22. I sat home all day today to ensure that I did not miss the delivery. Here we are 3 days before Christmas, with a million other things that I could be doing, I am stuck at home and no one showed up. I had to go out of my way to call a little after 3pm saying I did not get a phone call, am I still getting the delivery that I confirmed on Friday. 4 hours later someone calls me to say that they did get a truck and were not aware I was waiting for a delivery because I was not on the list. Well its a fine time to call me now at 7 pm. Which one is it? Was I not on the list or did the truck not come? Then Ms. Theresa has the nerve to ask me how she can make me happy. ARE YOU SERIOUS? Read moreI wish I could rate even lower, Mattress and Furniture Super Center does not deserve even one star. I purchased a couch and box spring a month ago. I was told by the salesman at the time that it would take a week to come in and I would be contacted to set up the delivery date. A week came and passed with no contact from anyone at the company. I had to call them several times, each time I was told someone would get back to me with more information. They never called me back. Finally, after two weeks of not hearing from them, I went back to the store and waited around for 30 minutes before they finally found my order. I was told to call back the following week to get more information from the girl I spoke with. She provided her cell phone number. I called the next week as instructed. The girl still did not have the information regarding when I would receive my delivery and had to get back with me to provide a tentative time frame. She did actually call me back to inform the estimated delivery date would be 4/5/19, but that was not set in stone. I did not receive any other calls after this. I had to continue to call to make sure I am still getting my delivery. Now here I am at 9pm on my Friday night waiting for their delivery truck that was supposed to be here between 5pm-9pm.
I certainly hope their product is better than their customer service. I will never buy anything from this company again and definitely will not recommend them to anyone else. This experience has been terrible. Not to mention, they conveniently leave out the fact that they do not give refunds. This is only listed on their receipt, I did not see it anywhere displayed in the warehouse. Florida Law mandates that any establishment must prominently display a sign that informs if no refunds are allowed. One last note, they were paid in full at the time...
