NuVision Auto Glass — Attraction in Tampa

Signed up with a person that came to our door saying we had dings in the windshield. BIG MISTAKE. Was told they would replace molding at same time as windshield. Came next day , early which was great. Neither technician could speak English and I don't speak Spanish so was very difficult to communicate. When they finished I went out to look and saw that the molding had not been replaced. He had to call to office to communicate the problem. I was told that they would have to order the molding from the dealership and would take 5-7 days. So this should not have been scheduled. Then the tech wanted me to sign that the job was done and I refused. I called a week later to find out the part had not been ordered. They promised to order it. No calls for another 2 weeks then someone from the office calls and says he found this in his unfinished pile. Part was never ordered the second time. He said he ordered and scheduled to have it put in today. This morning I get a text that I have an appointment between 12 and 4. No one shows up. No calls, texts or any communication. I call at 6pm and am told the part never came. My guess is that it wasn't ordered. He told me that he will let me know when it comes. I am not holding my breath. Horrible !!!! Do not trust these people at all if you have a newer vehicle , just go to your dealer! Someone came to my door with this company because I had a crack in my windshield. Because I work a lot I did not have a chance to get it fixed so then saying they would do everything for me and come to my house was enticing. Well once they put in the glass, it was the WRONG glass. The guy said he’d come back in a few days to replace. Never happened and when I tried to get in touch with people they said they were waiting on the part to come in. Well a month passed, nothing. Finally I called got upset and the NEXT day someone came out to fix, but it was the same glass they used before so the guy couldn’t fix. He told the company. Still have heard nothing, just “waiting” on the part. So meanwhile my front camera is DANGLING from the windshield and my safety hazard features are constantly going off. I called my insurance but they can’t do anything because it wasn’t a company endorsed through them.BEWARE OF...

A solicitor named Ryan representing this company came through my apartment complex after hurricane Idalia "to see if anyone needed work done." Not authorized by my apartment complex as said complex has a no solicitation policy. Would not take a no for an answer, kept pushing for information regarding who owned the car, etc. Could not give me a business card or answer my questions regarding if he was authorized by my apartment complex to be there.

After ending my conversation with him, i went out a bit later and found the name of the solicitor and his phone number written on my car's windshield next to a pre existing chip in my windshield. (Last for digits removed to avoid any claims of 'doxing') Will never be going to this auto shop after this interaction. Consider taking no for an answer and maybe printing some business cards if you want to leave things on people's cars. Now I have to figure out removing this man's name and number from my windshield. Will also be informing my apartment...
