Taunton Antiques Center — Attraction in Taunton

It is placed in what was once the largest tool supplier in the region, and you better believe that the entire thing is filled with antiques of every imaginable variety. The highlight by far is the records. 33s' fill half of the lower-most floor, as well as various areas throught the rest of the establishment. There must be over 9000. All at $1 a piece, in the basement at least. However, variety is somewhat limited for the most part, as there is little past the early 60s down there: Big band mostly. Record condition Is generally pretty serviceable, and, though it may take upwards of 1 hour of hunting, there are treasures to be found. Generally, prices are reasonable, but some sellers charge more than others, so it is recommended to search through the building for an item at the lowest possible price. I originally went there to ask about space to sell. I was an awe of the amount of stuff that was there so I spent a solid hour looking. I asked about a specific item and he recommended checking downstairs. I was looking for records. On top the records was a tote with a few Knick knacks that I wanted to buy. The guy at the register refused to sell them saying they weren’t for sale. Don’t for sale at a store where there were other things for sale? Never again will I go back there. I went to the gas station after, there was a sign for gas so I stopped and got it. They sold it to me. Weird way of making a customer happy. I didn’t bother inquiring...

Drove 40 minutes just to go to this store. Spent over an hour shopping here and waited at the checkout counter for 25 minutes before anyone working here even noticed I was waiting. Once I was finally noticed and the worker came to the register, she immediately proceeded to help someone else who came up to ask a question (who came out of nowhere) before she even started to check me out. She took an additional 10 minutes at another counter with that customer and didn't say a word to me, so I just left. Apparently my money wasn't good enough for them. Not wasting my time going...
