Took my phone in for a data transfer that went fine so I decided to get the screen fixed went to pick up my phone my lock screen no longer work told me it wasn't their problem I had to pay $145 for a phone that I cannot get into now. call him up the next day with the solution told me he doesn't work for free not his problem. I've been a business owner for 25 years I have never talked to customers that way.I would not recommend this place. That wants to charge you money for doing something that ends up causing your phone to be a paperweight. and Does not want to do. anything about it. PS young lady that works there was very kind and helpful and on the other hand the manager that says he was the manager has some kind of power trip going where he feels the need to take money. Something that he messed up I've looked on the reviews and there are other reviews almost identical as mine so this is not the first time this has happened at this store I will be taking them to small claims court. Message to the owner of the store.I would have my managerTake some classes How to be respectful to customers And customer service. Did you actually see the response to my post seriously I'm on drugs because I paid to get my phone repaired and they messed it up and it is true that I took my phone off the counter and left because I wasn't going to pay $145 for a paperweight the Taylor Police showed up at my house and told me I had to return the phone they told me pay the $145 and then take him to small claims court so I did as the police officers asked me to do I paid $ 145 and left with the intentions of taken him to Court but I called him the next day with a solution to the problem all he had to do is take one of my phones and switch the motherboard which had my valuable information on it and put it in my phone and everything would have been Square. but like I said before he told me I don't work for free and it's not my problem as you read his response does a businessman reply to review saying the guy must be on drugs or if he's not he should be this is a response of a 16 year old non-professional business manager seriously you want to deal with somebody with this kind of attitude I will update soon as I go to court all I can say is young man you need to grow up and learned to respect your customers and your elders. ps. I really hope that was not the owner of the businesses response...
Read moreLet me start by saying that my first experience there was good. The man I dealt with on my first go around was kind and helpful. Within 2 weeks of my screen repair, my keys started acting funny. They would press things that I wasn't actually pressing on. I would power cycle the phone, clean my screen, and it would work again. Also, everyone I would actually talk to over the phone started to complain of an echo that I couldn't hear. Then, out of no where the screen gets a line through it. It wasn't dropped. The case and the screen protector were still intact and there was no crack anywhere. I called first and was told that the warranty probably wouldn't cover it but to come in anyway. The manager was honestly a bully. He told me that the only way they would honor the warranty was if they opened it up and found "a piece of glass that could have been left under the new screen". But if they didn't find that, then I would be responsible for the repair (so another $200). I told him to take it apart because I didn't drop it and there must have been some kind of defect. Originally, they replaced my screen with a real Samsung screen. My tempered glass screen protector fit perfectly. When my husband went to pick up the phone, they said they would honor the warranty even though they didn't find anything under the screen - which I thought was great until I got the phone back. They replaced the screen with an aftermarket screen and not a Samsung screen so my tempered glass screen protectors do not fit flat. They don't stick on the sides of the phone because the aftermarket screens have slightly more of a curve on the edges. ALSO, there was glue all over the phone. SLOPPY. Gluey fingerprints and even glue UNDERNEATH my selfie cam so now the pictures are foggy. While the man who helped my husband when he picked up the phone was MUCH nicer than the guy we dropped it off with, I am still extremely disappointed with the service there. I drove all the way from Corktown, Detroit to have my phone replaced there because of all the good reviews. It is clear that if you have anything but an iPhone, you are putting yourself at risk for having a shotty experience and possibly paying for...
Read moreI shattered the screen on my galaxy note 2 a year ago, but continued to use the phone because it worked fine, which means all of the buttons worked fine. A week ago, the LCD went out, so I finally decided to get it fixed. They ordered the part and my phone was "repaired" after 3 days for $275. My husband picked it up for me and I couldn't wait to use it. I immediately noticed that the 'back' button didn't work consistently any more, which was unacceptable. I also noticed the menu would pull up and flicker even though I wasn't pushing that button. That was a little annoying, but I could deal with it. I drove all the way out there to explain the problem and the phone worked fine when I showed it to them. Rather than being concerned or attempting to reassure me, they tell me that they would have to charge me and order another home button part "because they couldn't verify it was working properly" before they fixed the screen. Naturally, I am angry. Why would I pay $275 to get a screen fixed on a phone that has buttons that don't work?! Guess what? My back button isn't working this morning. I'll dry out there again and try to keep my cool while I'm talking to them about the problem. The buttons worked finebefore. Now they don't. Please fix it. Overall, their customer service is terrible and they don't stand behind their work. update 11/14/15 shortly after posting this review, the manager of this store contacted me, apologized, and explained their policies. She was extremely apologetic about the customer service and said that she would order the part and makes sure that I was taken care of. I appreciated her, Emily,...
