Below average gym with above average prices. Lots of space and equipment but the equipment is all 2nd hand garage sale quality. They contract coaches who have no control over the gym itself. In order to cancel, you must send a CERTIFIED letter (yes, pay additional postage). Or you must show up in person... so if you get injured or move out of state, they will continue to bill and try to collect until you jump through hoops. If you email them to cancel (even 30 days in advance) they will respond TO THE EMAIL to tell you it's not a sufficient means of cancellation. It's a cheap tactic and that implies they need money. My classes had 3-4 people attend so I know they aren't exactly thriving. The customer service I have received was rude and dismissive. I will tell anyone who will listen to stay away from that place. They will reply to this and say you need 30 days notice. Fine, I get it. What about the next 3 months? Email is good enough to respond to but not cancel apparently lol. Instead of replying to this review, maybe just cancel it? Im glad I gave them a card to an account that I...
Read moreI love this fight gym! The classes are intense in a good way and one of the best workouts I've ever experienced while simultaneously working the brain with learning something new every class. The instructors will definitely push you to do the best you can and to go beyond what you thought you were capable of, but they cater to all experience types and fitness levels depending on where you're at; they focus on encouragement rather than just shouting orders and combos at you. When I first started I knew nothing about boxing or kickboxing or Muay Thai but this gym is great for beginners who have no previous experience or it's great if you're a seasoned fighter and want to get involved in a community with other experienced fighters. The staff and instructors are very knowledgeable with a wealth of experience and will answer any questions you have to the best of their ability and the environment is super welcoming, which is what really takes this gym to the next level. I highly recommend checking this gym out especially b/c your first trial session is on the house. Give it a try, you...
Read moreThis is a great gym to train in MMA. The staff are friendly and like to joke around, which makes the classes more bearable as they are pretty difficult for me.
There is plenty more equipment than what they had at my last MMA gym which provides plenty of space for you to train independently if you aren't looking to take the classes. The monthly rates are reasonable and the people that take the classes have been friendly.
John is an excellent trainer and all around cool guy if you're looking for personal training sessions.
I noticed that the very few bad reviews that I saw on this place had to do with the humor of the trainers. I don't find any of it out of line so I can't really relate. Sexist? Degrading? Please grow up and quit making up stories, I haven't noticed any of that. Everyone's just there to get in shape and have fun doing it so if you can't handle that then you might want to look for a more boring gym.
Last I checked they had a sick groupon deal for $30 for one month or a 7 day free pass. So there's really no reason for you to not come...
