Let me explain the consistent issues that I have at this location. Right by my house, I will never be returning after (shamefully) almost 100 orders.

It’s ridiculous that it consistently takes 20+ minutes for an order of fries and a drink. I abide by the newfangled technologies and place my order online through the app before arriving. I then enter my stall # immediately upon arrival.

My order never, ever makes it out to me in under 10 minutes. And it consistently takes upwards of 20 minutes for the order to reach me.

I know that it is 1000% due to the mismanagement of the store. For their drive stall order wait time metrics, they mark in the system that they’re on the way with the order. They’re not lol. Attached is a photo of what it will look like for at least 10 minutes after it tells you “Alyssa is on the way with your order!”

The red button has been blinking for 5 minutes now, as the order was not sent out 10 minutes ago when it said that the associate was on the way with the order.

And again, this is NOT 1 time, this is NOT 20 times, this is dozens upon dozens of times. My husband has cancer and this is a simple treat for the tough days that we have sometimes. You have to have something simple and small to look forward to.

Anyways, that’s about it. The fries are only actually hot (or warm) 1 out of 10 times 🙂 which is perfect for us because we adore cold fries that were fried 20 minutes prior? 30 minutes?

These people don’t apologize for anything. I’ve only actually made a complaint to them two or three times because we always forget after we get home, no apology, no kindness. Just “we can remake that for you”

I don’t understand, it is not hard to be kind. I’m constantly so kind to everyone that I interact with, I’m fed up with people being rude jerks for no reason. I’m not sarcastic, not funny or special, just normal and kind. Should I not be spending money here? Should I not be kind to you? Should I not be tipping??? What the heck am I doing wrong to deserve constant unkindness from people these days.

This location needs to be shut down! There is no reason why an order placed on the app should take 30-45 minutes to be given to you.

Their service is HORRENDOUS. A bunch of teenagers that couldn't care less and management that is unwilling to do anything to properly train their staff. We ordered on the app and checked into a stall. No one came out so we went to the walk-up. They had no clue where our order was and gave us some bull about having issues with their system. Two additional requests at the window and still, no order to be found. The employees working just shrugged their shoulders and walked away. They were unwilling to provide a refund because the order was placed on the app. Low and behold our order had been sitting on a shelf the entire time and no one was competent enough to find it?!?!

There are consistent issues with staffing, they're either too slow or they just don't give a damn. This is not the first time we've encountered delays at this particular location and it's really unfortunate that corporate is doing nothing to correct the issues. There is zero accountability to provide swift, accurate service. Yes, it's fast food, but the prices keep getting higher and the service keeps...

Holy smokes, we had the worst experience with this location. I ordered a Smash Burger (see pics below) with no onion and no pickle. I checked my order to make sure they did it right (after already waiting at the windows for 8 minutes), guess what, the burger had pickle and onion on it. I told the person at the windows, they grabbed the burger, angrily, and they said they'd fix it. Instead of having me pull forward and remake the burger the employees grossly just scraped the onions and pickles off the top and smashed the top of the bun back on the burger. So disgusting! Ruined dinner. Called store and the manager rudely said. If you come back we will remake it. Unacceptable. Why didn't they remake it the first time it was wrong. Next. Looked up and put in a complaint with a chat representative at the corporate Sonic office. They apologized and said someone from the national complaint team would get back to me. I've called Sonic corporate office three times since. It was been three weeks and no one has responded. We used to eat at this store at least two times a week and still, no one has responded. Very terrible service! I can't waste my money at a company that doesn't even care at the...

I visited the Sonic located at 630 W Elliot Road in Tempe on a Thursday afternoon around 12:30 p.m. To say this dining experience was a disappointment would be an understatement. I ordered the medium sized Crispy Chicken Sandwich combo with Tots and the total was $11.12. The wait for them to prepare my meal was probably a touch under 10 minutes. When my food was brought to me, I was shocked to see that the mint that Sonic gives their customers has shrunk in size dramatically. I have no basis of comparison between the old mint and what they serve now, but it seems like the old mint was about the size of a quarter and now, their mint can hide behind a penny. When I looked inside the bag and saw the chicken sandwich, I asked myself, “Where’s the rest of it?” This thing was tiny, like the size of a biscuit sandwich that I’ve ordered for breakfast at other restaurants. After biting into the Chicken Sandwich, I was unpleasantly surprised to find that the bun was burnt so badly that the whole bun was dry and crispy, and not soft like bread should be. The tots were good. They were crispy and not overcooked. Really, the tots and the Coca-Cola were the only aspects of this meal that was not an utter letdown.
