Free (donations accepted) museum with wonderful displays. They have a printing press and sell wooden tenino bucks. There are many great period displays and especially tools and local lore and photos. The schoolhouse is very well done and has multiple displays of all the earliest schools in the Prairie areas of Washington State (which were some of the very earliest permanent settlements). My girls are wanting to come back in their old fashioned dresses to play pioneers. Don't forget to go around the back of the museum and check out the vehicles tools, Sawmill, etcetera. If you happen to be there on a day when they are closed, there's still plenty to walk around and see. I thought it was supposed to be open from noon to 4 pm. Very disappointing. Maybe I will contact the city to find out what...
