Landmark Tavern — Restaurant in Tenino

I grew up as a small child here in Tenino and always wondered, "what is the Landmark?",there, on the corner right past my favorite mini mart? What I came to find 25 years later was that this little corner bar establishment from my childhood housed one of the last great American dive bars. Sticky, decade old tables, peeling carpet and outdoor, relaxed smoking area. Amazing jukebox with anything you could dream up to listen to. Most of the time country or classic rock will be playing. An Avett Brothers and Hank.Williams crowd for sure. Great service, fried tidbits and cheap Oly pitchers. 3 pitchers and 2 appetizer dishes ran 40 dollars with a decent tip for attentive, personal service. Will return for rumored amazing burgers and Friday steaks. Do recommend for a slice of American bar culture...

The 1st two times we came in here we had a decent experience with good burgers & good bloody marys, but our third time, yesterday, unfortunately I can't say the same. We only stopped for a couple bloody marys, as always, we get top shelf & ask for grey goose. It was very obvious after tasting our 1st drinks she made us, that the bar was out of their bloody mary mix, same for the 2nd one's we ordered, just made by a different bartender. I don't think we'll be back here again, if you have a customer requesting & paying for a top shelf quality cocktail, & you don't have the mix to complete that cocktail, be honest & tell the customer you can't make that top shelf cocktail at the moment, wish you would have told us, saved our $44 for...

Heading the back way to the ocean looking for beer and a tavern burger stumbled across this gem. Excellent service I guess you’d call it a dive bar it was full of friendly locals playing pool. The place was older but very clean including the rest rooms. The server was attentive the beer selection was good and cold. We both had bacon cheese burgers. I had onion rings she stayed with fries it was all fantastic. 3 beers 2 burgers a total of $36 perfect unfortunately the pull tabs beat us up a little but obviously you don’t have to play that....
