Worst online order for pickup I've ever experienced and horrific Customer service, I placed an online order for 1 bag of dog food, so I could save some time and just swing by and grab it. NOT A GOOD IDEA WITH THIS STORE. I placed my online order at 6pm, then another order online somewhere else. I received the confirmation emails. At this time the Coastal email informed me my order would be ready within 4 hours. Well, Coastal closed at 8pm, and the other store had already responded with a pick up time within the hour. I went to the other store, was helped immediately and was on my way to Coastal by 645pm. Upon arrival, I sought out an employee that wasn't busy. I explained the order situation and asked if my order was ready or, if not, if I could just grab the bag of food myself, since payment was already processed. She said she didn't know and looked to the cashier near her. The cashier had me repeat myself and said she didn't know. The cashier then radioed someone and asked about the order. After 10 minutes of waiting, I re-inquired about the situation. The cashier told me they were filling my order. Then there was confusion about the color of the bag that I had ordered between the associate I had originally spoken to, the cashier, and someone else via the walkie system. After another 10 minutes I was advised that the kind of food I had ordered was out of stock, to which I inquired if I could just swap out the same brand and size but different flavor. The cashier then got on the phone and asked "her manager." A few more minutes passed and she told me that could not be done, but that they would cancel the order and I could purchase a new bag. I asked if the cancelation and return of funds would be immediate and and she responded with yes. I agreed and went and chose a different flavor of the same brand of dog food in the same 30lb bag. The cashier then rang the food up. I was waiting for a cancelation email, but it hadn't yet come. In the meantime others had gotten in line. I asked the cashier if she could suspend my transaction and help the others in line while we waited for the cancelation confirmation. She did not say anything, just pulled the food off the counter and began helping the next person. I stepped out of the way. After another 15 minutes of waiting, once all other customers were assisted, I asked her to follow up about the cancelation and she replied with "No money was taken from your account." So I checked. The full order price was taken from my account and I showed this to the cashier. Who then called her manager again, at which time I requested the manager come speak to me. Several minutes later a woman, who looked as though I had irritated her by waking her from a nap, came into the front cashier area. She proceeded to tell me that I wasn't charged she had canceled my order. I showed her that I HAD been charged and again asked if I could just take the food and go since it was the same brand, size, and price. She said I could not because she had already canceled my order. I want to thank the management for going over and beyond to make sure that I was heard and handled it beautifully, and then went that extra mile by offering a gift card. I decline the card because they made sure at the end of the day I was ok. Thank you all so much.
Went in to do some Christmas shopping, not a store that I usually go to I was in the isles where there is a bunch of Coats and there were signs for 25% off percent off I did not read the fine prints I thought it was for all the jackets in there and there and I had over $500 worth of products in my cart I was dressed in my "mom outfits" sweatpants slippers and a messy bun and was treated like I was trying to pull a fast one. Marlene, I went down the aisle with her to show her and that's when she informed me that it was for a different brand I had suggested that maybe highlighting the brand's name would you know help from this not happening again she replied I will make sure to let corporate now you think it is a good idea, and that I had been the only one who made that mistake. I walked away told the cashier to cancel it, I didn't want them to see me cry. To make a customer feel so I wouldn't do that to someone. How a person responds can determine the outcome of the situation. I did go back the next day dressed as I would for work. Marlene didn't even recognize me and how she responded was in a helpful tone welcoming. It shouldn't matter what I am wearing or if I have make-up on it. I went back to pay for a bag of candy and to purchase what I wanted the day before. I had no problem pAying for all of it. Marlene, I hope no one ever makes you feel as you did me. There are tools to use small things customers like to be acknowledged. Instead of saying"I will make sure corporate knows that you think it is a good idea" use " Corporation is the one that makes these type of decisions we have a phone number or email if you would like we love to hear from our customers. Or taking a note of it just these small steps can make a huge difference. For cashier maybe not raising your eyebrows and repeating me in a sarcastic tone. Read moreI walked in this afternoon with a friend of mine that was looking for her first personal carry. She’s new to guns, never bought one or ammo and asked me to come along to help her. I assured her that whoever she meets at the counter would be extremely helpful and willing to answer any of her questions, As most firearms dealers/employees are. My opinion completely changed when we met Jeff. He was very standoffish and rude. Almost as if he didn’t even want to deal with any customers. After asking to look at a small ruger he scoffed at us and gave out a sarcastic “Okay”. He did retrieve the gun but he leaned over the counter towards my friend. Gave her a disgusting look and handed the gun over to her with it dangling out of his fingers saying “here you go” and I swear I could smell hard alcohol on his breath. My friend was clearly uncomfortable so I told him no thanks and we left the store. After purchasing from coastal farm and ranch before I am very upset about this!
