Westminster City Park — Attraction in Thornton

I guess. We're done going here because I did a bad review about a year ago because I did a bad review about a year ago because the teenagers had started cleaning an hour before clothes with hoses everywhere and playing football right over the heads of the kids not watching and doing their life guard duties. But then I decided to go back and they redeemed themselves.Everybody was so professional and wonderful and they didn't start cleaning until close...... But then we went back Last weekend And it was the same thing and not only were they having Spray cleaner( Some sort of pink liquid which I know isn't something we want on our children's skin) spraying all around where the kids were still in the pool , but they were brushing it And Dipping their Brooms in the lazy river to rinse them off. I was absolutely mortified. One of the Girls noticed that I was visibly upset and stopped cleaning and went right back to doing her lifeguard dutys, but the guy kept going like they could care less. don't know if my large family will ever go back there anymore, They clearly have little kids running the place at night, doing what the heck they want. I'm so disappointed because we love this rec center, I wish somebody would hold them accountable so we could enjoy This part of our community, but it seems like Understaffing or under supervision is...

Westminster City Park is a great family friendly park. Nothing much has changed since my last visit on Superbowl Sunday.

The spring/summer outdoor activities are kicking into gear through the rec center, so the ball fields will be busy with activity evenings and weekends. Check out the Westminster City Parks and Rec website for a detailed schedule of the activities offered here

The memorial garden is still beautiful. I am looking forward to a garden full of colorful flowers, and wild life scampering and flying about. It's really lovely in a sunny day, just as evening comes on. The sunsets can be amazing.

What a great neighborhood park! This was my first time talking a walkthrough and I’m so glad I did. There are loads of walkways, trails, and large field areas along with the lake in the middle. Today it was 80 degrees out and super hot but there are lots of places to sit and trees to relax under. There was a little kids soccer tourney going on today and it was great to see the little ones running around and screaming and cheering each other on. I sat by the lake and watched a little dachshund running along the shore and enjoyed the view and the light breeze. ...
