Nothing more than a covered bridge. If you're from Upper Bucks County area like I am you almost take them for granted. This one is on the across the river from Frenchtown, Nj and the action as far as things to do is on that side of the river. With that if you find yourself in that area it's worth a walk/ bike ride if your on the towpath or a drive to walk across it. If your feeling spry you could ride your bike across it and up Uhlerstown Hill Rd. The same with driving up the hill. It's steep with only enough room for one car and no guard rail. Read moreWe went on our second "Covered Bridge Tour" today, and this was one of four that we sought out. Stunning to behold. Covered bridges are such wonderful "time machines" that make you think of the horses and carriages that traversed them before all of the cars. This one was right under our noses for so long. We just needed to "stab west" from the Delaware a bit more and we would have found this gem. This one in particular spans the Delaware Canal itself, which makes it, I believe, the only covered bridge in the region to do so. Wonderful.
