Read moreNothing to see except mediocre art from rich people that hide behind their non-profit to avoid paying taxes in one of the most expensive counties, in the most expensive states in the country. I find it EXTREMELY telling that the owners (billionaires) live in PA, where taxes are much cheaper, but built their million dollar building on the more expensive side of the river, where they pay $0 in taxes. ArtYard does nothing to help the Frenchtown community, it is nothing more than a vanity project for bourgeoise bohemian Harvard Grads to pretend they are artists....

From what I can tell, ArtYard has created a space that is supporting local artists (and how lucky are we that local means NJ, PA, and NY??) while acting as catalyst for provocative art.
