Bartz Viviano Flowers & Gifts — Attraction in Toledo

Typically great quality, I was always adamant about my flowers coming from here because they last way longer and I find it more worth it than to buy grocery store ones that need replaced every week. My boyfriend got me this beautiful arrangement on 3/18, well the first pic was taken on 3/23 of the roses wilted and the BUDS of the lilies dead. The second pic was on 3/28 and they’re completely dead. This was a 200 something dollar arrangement completely dead within 10 days. I called on 3/29 when I finally got some time (usually any time I do have is later in the day when they’re closed so it took me some time to get around to calling) looking for some type of replacement, refund, credit? Literally anything because I love Bartz and the quality is never like this. I was told on the phone I would’ve had to call by 3/25 for replacement and MAYBE if I took the time stamped picture up to the store they could do something for me? I am a busy person I don’t have time for a MAYBE especially cause if they still couldn’t help me I’d be even more irate. So hopefully these time stamped photos under this review will catch their attention and I can get compensated in some way. I’m very disappointed.

Side note: I was very respectful over the phone and I’m not trying to be nasty in this review either, I just want the matter to be corrected in some way and so far I’ve pretty much just gotten a “sorry we can’t help you.” This is all very absurd to me. I’ve always received great quality and customer service here prior.

EDIT as response to the owners response, Ive worked at a greenhouse I know all about caring for flowers. I shouldn’t have had to replenish the water after FIVE days. I have a full time job, school, and children so I called on the weekend when I had the time. Obviously when only 5 days after they started wilting and that gave me a 2 day span to call in that sense. I used Bartz Viviano for my wedding flowers and had the BEST experience!

Before planning my wedding I had no idea how much florals cost. I got a handful of quotes around the city, and Bartz came in at the most reasonable. I had a couple of florists never even respond to my inquiry form. Amanda (owner) responded to my inquiry the same day! She referenced my Pinterest boards and made a proposal based on the color schemes I was drawn to and considered what florals would be in season when making recommendations. She absolutely nailed the designs.

I wasn’t sure what all the flowers looked like in-person and I was feeling overwhelmed with choices. Amanda was super nice and met with me in-person so I could see some similar blooms in the shop. When I expressed I was feeling a bit uncomfortable with the budget, she worked with me to get it in a range that I was happy with. She never made me feel embarrassed or awkward about it, which I SO appreciated.

She was willing to work with me to make personal additions to the bouquet. While I never got a chance to do it (ran out of time), she was willing to help with adding a special wrap around my bouquet that was fabric from my mom’s dress. The whole staff was very accommodating and kind during every interaction.

We had a groomsmen pick up our flowers the day of the wedding. Bartz staff packaged them nice and secure so they looked fabulous even with the 50+ minute drive.

And oh my god, I kid you not….the flowers TOOK MY BREATH AWAY!!!! I was in complete shock at how utterly perfect they were! The colors, the variety, the “flouncy” organic wildflower I was craving…….IT WAS PERFECT! When the groomsmen walked in with the flowers they literally took my breath away!!

The day came, and we knew it was coming soon, but the reality of it coming was the most difficult to accept. Reality came that Sunday morning, and sorrowfully, the storm rolled in because she had passed three days before her birthday.

The Family of Margie Ann Williams would like to convey our appreciation for the professionalism and compassion bestowed upon us during this bereavement. It was exceptionally challenging to find the perfect balance of white florals with a touch of gold, our Momma’s favorite color. When one thinks of gold, as a Christian, it reminds one of the strength and omnipresence of the Lord. This color, which she loved so dearly, was not just a color to her but a symbol of her light that showed brightly that final day at sunrise. You captured the essence of the vision perfectly and synthesized it stunningly with the funeral home arrangements. The floral sprays accented her final presentation beautifully since our Momma was more precious than gold to us.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to JC and the Secor Branch Bartz Viviano Florists for your patience, kindness, and professionalism during our sorrowful time. You reminded me each time that everything would be okay every time I called adding or editing for maximum perfectionism. Your warm smiles and calming reassurances were like a balm to our grieving hearts, providing comfort in the midst of our sorrow. Thank you for elevating the florals that subtly fragmented and delicately accented the room while adding to the deeper overall purposefulness. Your kindness and professionalism will never be forgotten.
