Just had the Chicken Pad Woon Sen (Stir-fried Bean Thread Vermicelli) with Medium Spice. I chose the Self-service Dine-in , ordering online using their QR Code posted on the plexiglass at the register. Probably especially helpful considering the restaurant was definitely busy with people coming to pick-up orders.
The Pad Woon Sen was delicious with juicy sliced chicken, fresh green onions, onions and bean spouts. The dish also included egg, water chestnuts and baby corn. The sauce was delicious, perfectly spiced to my request using crushed dried red chili powder and finished with a white pepper powder on top.
From the first bite, I knew the aroma and taste were everything I wanted for a Pad Woon Sen. My friend got the mild Shrimp and Chicken Pad Woon Sen and immediately stated she would return to eat here again. She got mild and could definitely taste the spice.
Despite the restaurant being busy, the lady taking orders, handling take-out pick-ups was still attentive to us. Asking how we liked our food We honestly answered "Delicious" and "Very Good", she humbly asked "Is it really or are you just talking sweet?" Read moreI'm pretty new to the area, I've lived in Ohio for a year. I'm from a foodie city in Michigan, where I'm used to any kind of food, at any time of day, at any price I'm looking to spend. Toledo as far as I can tell, does not have many non chain restaurants fitting any of those descriptions. With that being said, since the first time I tried Toledo Thai, I've been coming back several times a week. And in my personal opinion, in an otherwise bland tasting city this restaurant sticks out to me with a great variety, what taste like higher end ingredients, phenomenal heat when you order spicy, and a very kind staff. As long as I live in this city I'll be giving this restaurant my business. I personally would recommend any of the curries, but my personal favorite is N2, pad see-eww, or N4...
Read moreIf you’re looking for good Thai food in Toledo, this is the place. Look no further. I used to live on the west coast and had multiple favorite Thai restaurants out there, and I’d have to say that this tiny place in Toledo slays all the others, and is exceptionally better than all of the other Thai places I’ve tried in the area this far.
I have yet to order anything from Toledo Thai that wasn’t awesome, and I can’t say that for other Thai restaurants I’ve been to.
As a side benefit, my wife and I usually order about $50 worth of food and we get multiple meals from it for multiple days, so it never really feels like an extravagant expense when...
