If you have small children who love โค๏ธ to see fire trucks ๐, lights and sirens ๐จ going down the street then this museum is the place to visit.
There is two floors with firemen artifacts. This museum has several firetrucks on the 1st floor. To answer any questions about the firetrucks. NO ๐ซ you cannot sit, climb, or touch any of the trucks.
Also on the 1st floor, there is a wall that has several types of fire and police alarms ๐, a display that consist of several fire helmets โ๏ธ, a rack with several firemen coats, a display of firemen badges, and display of hose nozzles.
There is a display that shows several fire recuse of brave firefighters saving lives, a display showing the integration of Black Americans firemen ๐, and a plague of all the firefighters who passed away while in the line of duty.
The second floor is a learning experience floor. The Fire Safety and Education Center allow children and adults to actually role play fire ๐ฅ encounter in a house ๐ . The training is under the supervision of the Fire Prevention Bureau. Children are taught what to do if they are ever in a fire ๐ฅ situation such as roll out of bed ๐, keep low to the floor in case of smoke and feel the door๐ชwith the back of your hand.
