Fire Wings Market — Restaurant in Toledo

I am going to say this now; If I could write this 10 stars, I would.

I am a military member of the US Army. I am Middle Eastern and French. I have made thousands of dishes personally and experienced so much culture that I couldn't pick a favorite culinary that can't be beat..

Until I found this diamond hidden in the heart of Toledo.

This place is so warm, so kind and inviting. Both of the men running this establishment are the nicest people I have ever met, and it brings me so much warmth to my heart to see my brothers doing so well.

My mother is a Doordasher in the area and she has received so many orders from this place. So, we decided to visit while I was here on leave and I have never been more impressed by a culinary establishment.

They make a combination of cultural American and Middle Eastern food; from fantastic falafel to frighteningly flavorful (f)philly. Their wings to boot; I have never had a better seasoned chicken wing in my entire life. They make ALL their food fresh and all it takes is a quick look behind the beautifully presented counter to establish that. Every bite I feel back at home, and I see my Egyptian ancestors smiling upon me for enjoying this amazing local restaurant.

Please, you two, if you are reading this. Don't change a thing. You two have made my mother and I feel welcome in your store and I congratulate you on making it big here in Toledo from your tiny establishment. I see you are busy; but the line never stagnates and slows. You move with efficiency and create excellent delicious dishes that make even I tear up.

I wish you the absolute best, and I wish I had taken the time to take pictures of your amazing food; but I had to sneak a bite and I couldn't even stop myself to take pictures after that.

If you come to this establishment, you won't be disappointed. These two young men have come to Toledo to bring their beautiful culture and they do not miss a single thing on their menu.

I ordered the 10pc naked Hot BBQ, my wife got the 10pc naked Lemon Pepper, my father in law the 5pc naked Awesome Sauce wings and the Lamb Gyro, and my mother a chicken plate which I forget the name and an order of four falefel. All of it was SO GOOD IT...

I grew up in NY and Fire Wings is basically the best bodega you could ask for. I ordered some salad and wings for lunch to pickup. When I came in I noticed that they have a little Mediterranean grocery store so I was browsing while I waited for my food. While I was waiting the owner offered me a date (the fruit, not the night out) and it was delicious! I then picked out some Shawarma and Cajun spices which I can't wait to try, the owner then talked to me about their olive oil selection which I will definitely come back to pick up. After checking out the owner asked if I had ever tried their drinks and he gave me a complimentary "Fuzy" lemon/honey drink.

I love local places like this where you can tell the owners really care and are working hard to create a life and business for themselves. The wings and salad were amazing, the salad was one of the best greek salads I've had in a long time, the lettuce was incredibly fresh and the parsley also added a great freshness.

If you like wings and comfort foods definitely check this place out and be sure to support their business by picking up some things from their little grocery section! I can't wait to go back and pick up a few more things!

EDIT: I was surprised to read someone say they had a bad experience here. I would say this, IF you do have something go wrong, give the owner a chance to make it right before leaving a negative review. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes but I can tell you with 100% confidence that this guy will make it right for you. He cares about his business and his customers and that is very...

Stopped in on Friday and let the gentleman know I was picking up a first time order. Told him I'd leave a review after he mentioned it.

I got hot bbq wings and a small garden salad. My girlfriend got Garlic Parm wings and a small Greek Salad. Both of us enjoyed our wings (had some for leftovers today actually, with all the sauce they have they were still good warmed up!) and the salad portion was super nice for the price.

My only complaint is that they forgot our salad dressings for both salads. Thankfully we had the kind we ordered at home. We also didn't get any napkins,forks, etc. with all the sauce the napkins would've been a nice addition but paper towels filled in just as easy. I five star it because ultimately the food was great and that's what mattered the most.

That being said, we will definitely be returning. Not only did I enjoy the flavor of the wings and the way the salad was made, and the feel of the little market, but we are now excited to try other items...
