Castle Park — Attraction in Toms River

I always take my kids here. To play and run. There's tables with seats if you just want to watch them while they play and has lots of shades for those sunny days. And it's always clean. Perfect for picnic if you ever want to have a family reunion with kids. But letting everyone know that this place is almost always packed. Either from school kids events or just a lot of families with their kids. But there's always parking able. Bathrooms sometimes are open sometimes they are closed but there is always one portable potty wheelchair assessable big enough to have some else to help if help is needed of course. Always clean too. But I always bring one extra toilet paper and alcohol to clean sits when my kids use it or I use it. Trust me this Park is always packed lots of people and kids but it's beautiful playground....

First time visiting this park I got to say I'm very impressed there is something for 2 to 5 year old and then section for 5 to 12 year olds and literally across the street at the police station couldn't feel safer. With that said skateboard park rock wall climbing area many many slides there are plenty of various swing sets soccer fields and there is bathroom during season off-season there is a unisex Porta pot we're child changing station. There is a skateboard area for adults and kids as well. Perhaps the most impressive feature about this park unlike a lot of the other Parks I visited throughout New Jersey that I posted about is it handicapped-accessible there is a ramp. Castle Park 🏰 A staple of Toms River Parks n Rec program. This park has been revamped throughout the years. It has quite a bit of different play areas. Several types of swings for all ages comfort levels and disabilities. It has a large Rock probably not meant for climbing but that's what all the kids do from it. They have recently built a skate park on the land right beside the park and it looks good. The ice cream man swings by often and you can always buy a snack from them. The one gripe is there is quite a large amount of bees that come and hang near the trash can by the entrance, it a result of the ice cream being thrown into that trash.
