Couple of weeks ago I bought a LG top line washer machine from Home Depot but taking them one week for delivery to my house! Although I am not at home there is sibling in the house to receive the delivery.
One cannot imagine Home Depot delivery service workers were downright awful and egregious – the delivery workers are 2 stout men claiming our existing old washer machine is too big which they cannot lift, and our door is too narrow, yet wanting my sibling who is a 55 year-old woman weighing about 100 pounds to move out our existing washer before they can pick up.
What are they are talking about here?! If the existing washer is too big for moving out, how could it be moved in when bought few years ago! Even my aged sibling has the sense to challenge them this question.
In the end, my existing washer was not moved out of the house but placed next to the new washer. Later in the evening when I returned home, I alone (average built) could move the old washer out to the garage now sitting in my garden for Home Depot to pick up. Damn ridiculous that the delivery guys said it is too big for them to move!
Next terrible situation happened – they installed the new washer, turned on the machine for testing, no sound detected and left abruptly. Right after they left the washer leaked water so bad that entire floor of washer room and kitchen were filled with water. My sibling quickly turned off the machine. Took her 5 hours to dry the floor.
Not sure the delivery team was from Home Depot or LG but never seen such awful service and product ever before in my life!
We called in for reporting and repair which took more than 45 minutes swaying us back and forth in transferring our call to the right department. Eventually, they said earliest they can come to fix is next Tuesday which is 4 days after the leakage!
This nightmare experience with Home Depot has never been worse! Never experience a product before with defect such as LG product!
Above is the worst experience I ever encounter with product and service that I want to share with you all!
Please be careful in choosing your products and the place to buy!

Read moreWhat a horrible experience at Home Depot Torrance Cross Roads. Came to store this evening. Clearly a slow night. Plenty of people with aprons standing around. I go to lumber department after circling the area I see someone. I ask who is in lumber department? He replies that would be me. I told him I needed some wood cut to size for a project. He replied my saw is broken, I ask when will it be fixed he said probably Monday and gone from sight, that fast. I see him again trying to get advice and he says look in 22 and walks away again. I help myself pull some wood and ask for help from another person by cashier area and I’m told I can’t purchase the wood and leave it in store to be cut to size on Monday. So disappointed on the horrible customer service. If the first person would have taken 5 minutes to try to help me perhaps my experience would have been better. Instead I leave the store thinking what lazy worthless people Home Depot hires. People who want a job, but yet don’t want to do their job. I hope you do something about your employees, bad customer service has such a bad reflection in your store. Make me not ever come back and just...
Read moreWent looking to Home Depot to purchase a new cordless drill/driver. Last one I'd purchased was over 25 yrs ago... So, lots of new features available. Felt pretty lost among the brands, models, features, etc. -- Then, a small, slightly older Asian man wearing an orange Home Depot apron came up to me. On his apron was written the name Terry. I explained to Terry what I was generally in the market for & my lack of expertise. Terry asked various questions determining my usage level, job needs & requirements. He explained the advantages of brushless vs. traditional, torque adjustability & speeds, drill/driver with & without hammerdrill feature, etc. He then answered my questions & after I had made a tentative selection, provided a quick lesson in tool operation/features, and solidified my purchase decision. Terry might be small in stature, but his level of expertise & product knowledge was huge. He certainly knows everything about the tools in his department, is the type of knowledgeable employee one is hoping to find when overwhelmed by options, features & selections. Ask for him by name, he can probably...
