In-N-Out Burger — Restaurant in Torrance

Me and my family come here at least once a week. We’ve never had an issue until today. We recently received an American Express gift card from my husbands job and we decided to use it to grab some food here. When we got to the window we were immediately told by the cashier that they don’t accept cards that don’t have a visa logo. I informed him that they indeed do take American Express. He calls his manager Jose over and he tells me “ we take American Express just not gift cards.” I asked him if they take visa gift cards and he said yeah. So I said what’s the difference and asked him to try a different machine, he said “we can try at the second window but it probably won’t work there either.” We got to the second window where she charged the card with no problem. 🙄 Jose immediately started making excuses “oh it’s cause sometimes the visa blah blah blah” no sorry no nothing. i ignored and asked the young lady what his name was and she asked her coworker if she could tell me his name and then the coworker called him over to tell him we wanted his name. 🙄 like you guys don’t know your own managers name? I can usually count on the consistent quality at any In 'n Out. And the South Torrance In 'n Out (Crenshaw and Lomita) doesn't disappoint.Our food was fresh and prepared exactly how we requested.

I usually don't post on fast food chains. But I decided to write a review to commend an exceptional employee named Chapman who was working there this Sunday night. When we entered In 'n Out, Chapman greeted everyone with a smile, "Hello" and a "Welcome!" even though he was busy taking care of the trash receptacles. As I sat in the dining room, I noticed how hard Chapman was working. Besides his "hello" and "welcome" greetings, he thanked customers and said goodbye to customers leaving. Chapman was in constant motion; cleaning tables, offering to throw away trash for customers, sweeping, and even wiping down the trash receptacle.

Honestly I would afraid of this five stars but I had a little issue I traveled about 200 miles just to come and eat at in and out. Me and my husband ordered four double doubles and two animal french fries. When they gave us the order everything looked really delicious. We tried the animal fries and to be honest the fries tasted like McDonald’s fries like they been sitting there all hard. My husband went up to the register and asked if he could please get an order of fresh fries and all they did was warm them up again I worked at a fast food restaurant. And honestly they were not fresh at all really disappointed with in and out we’ve tried The in and out located in San Francisco and the one located and Las Vegas Nevada never had an issue with them always had their fresh food everything. I will be calling corporate really disappointed with that in and out never again will...
