It was during lunch hour on Saturday June-19-2021. I've took a glance at the place before decide to go in for lunch dinning. The place was almost empty, while all the other restaurants were packed with customers. The usual day shift manager looked extremely unhappy with frowned, scrambled, and angry face. His face always have 2 side to it. Smiling when business is busy, but presenting nasty and unhappy face when business is slow. At the time and coincidentally, one of the app delivery driver walked in with cellphone on his hand and notifying the the guy he was there to pick up the order, the same manager replied back with very rude and unfriendly neck and face gestures plus very angry attitude with unclear finger pointing to the to food and said "just take it!" Then the driver asked "just this bag?" Which is common procedure to verify and confirm the order, so they're sure of taking the correct order. Then the same guy replied back with very angry and frowned face, and said just take it! As the third party who witnessed this incident the day time manager who controls the cash register do not! Again do not! Qualify to be there! And he does not have the integrity, posture, and mindset to operate that place. He also need to work harder on his English skills, since majority of customers in that shopping mall is English users! But, mostly change your attitude, if you want to continue your business there. Again! All the other restaurants were packed and busy while your place was very slow on Saturday lunch hour. Every occurrence has its reason!! Buy the way! I've tried your ramen few time and it wasn't good. I've also accidently witnessed you were scooping Korean Kimchi and Kimchi juice from the jar to make Kimchi ramen. Aren't you suppose to go through the proper fermentation process in order to keep your kimchi Ramen recipe??!! And the brand was from Korean market. How do I know? I've purchased that Kimchi brand...

I have been a regular customer for over year but the service and servers have been so rude that I can’t even enjoy the food anymore. An older man on June 11 took our order. He had a thick accent so it was harder to understand him. We didn’t want to be rude or discriminate so we just pointed what we wanted in the menu and said exactly how it is in the picture. We couldn’t understand him but again just repeated our order. When our food came it was completely wrong and we asked another server who spoke english better what we wanted. She was also very hostile, our original server came and started making a scene and being very rude to us. He eventually made us feel not welcomed in the restaurant. Overall, if you don’t care how you’re treated I guess this would be the...

I enjoyed the Ramen place with my wife service was fast quick the ramen soup base had a very nice taste that paired well with the noodles and the meat in this case I had a chicken ramen with grilled chicken and spicy miso. My wife has Shacho Ramen both were good ramen we like it over the Umenoya, which is across the street from this place. Umenoya is good too, but the service there is not very good they take long to wait on tables and don't check in to ask if you need anything after you're seated and orders ready like Ramen Restaurant Ko-Ryu. Plus Ko-Ryu has a spicy ramen challenge and legendary board and one of the waitresses is on the legendary board so they are rather familiar with the spiciness level...

TORRANCE: With the cooler evenings + sweater weather (which is short-lived cuz it'll be back in the 90s this weekend!) and being the South Bay, it was the perfect timing to try a new ramen spot!! And hubby picked a great spot!! Both our ramen broths were sooooooooo flavorful and all our dishes were soooooo comforting!! 📍Ko-Ryu Ramen @koryu_ramen Torrance, CA (Other South Bay locations include Hawthorne, San Pedro, & Rancho Palos Verdes) 🍢 Takoyaki 🍜 Chicken Ramen (Fried Chicken) 🍜 Chanpon (Seafood Ramen) #koryuramen #ramenrestaurant #japaneseramen #takoyaki #chickenramen #chanpon #seafoodramen #torranceca #torrancefoodie #southbayeats #southbayfoodie #southbayfood #socalfood #socalfoodie #socalfoodies #eaterla #yelpla #omeeshmeeshofoodie #omeeshmeesho

I have been there 3 times in the last 2 weeks, what a gem! Service and food are amazing. Small, strip mall storefront, so not much atmosphere, but they had lovely Christmas decorations which helped the overall feel. Lunch specials are plentiful and reasonably priced. First time I had the Shacho Ramen, spice level 2 with the Pork Shumai. Had the same Ramen the next time, level 3, still great taste and just the right amount of heat. Last visit I had the lunch special Curry Ramen with Chicken Karage and had the Chashu Don rice with it. Everything was delicious. I used to come here for the Mongolian BBQ ( no longer available) but never tried the Ramen and now I regret it. I will be a regular customer from now on.

Mom and I visited to have a try of their ramen. I got the Koi Ramen spice level 3 (wasn't spicy at all) and my mom got the seafood ramen. I thought mine was decent. I finished mine and left satisfied although I wish the broth had a better flavor. The seafood ramen was good. The broth was on the sweeter side. My mom hated it cuz she had the best ramen from Japan and can't help to compare her experience to places here in the US. Its just not comparable. Overall, this is a good spot if you are craving ramen in the area.
