Christmas Village — Attraction in Torrington

This was my first time at Christmas Village in Torrington. CT. It was such a special and magical place. While waiting in line to get inside, could get free cups of Dunkin Donuts hot cocoa, which were delicious and much needed because it was sooo cold out that day! Inside the venue was magical! It was done so well and Santa (nicest Santa we saw ever) and Mrs. Claus, as well as the elves and all the workers were fantastic! ( : And outside are four real reindeer. Rudolph was alone in his pen (maybe his nose glowing bothers the other reindeer) and Dancer, Prancer, and Vixen were the other three reindeers all living together in the same pen. All were working with Santa the day we went! The best part is, it is totally free, but donations are accepted and probably hoped for, I would imagine to keep this beautiful venue up and running year after year! Definitely visit next year if you are in CT! Well worth the trip to Torrington to enjoy and visit all your favorite friends from the North Pole at Christmas...

Went to Christmas village tonight waited two hours and got to the front and a bus came with a group of people from Trumbull ..apparently they had reservations which I'm pretty sure isn't allowed..the line was stand still til they were done with the tour.pretty sad that the locals got put on the back burner for a out of town ..i want to know how to get a bus tour..my six year out cries all night nknowing he n couldn't see Santa bc a bunch of people ruined it foe him. Thank you christmas village you should do what's right and let this boy get a free pass since his...

I went to this when i was little and now i bring my kids. Nothing has changed lol... its all free.... u do have to wait in line about n hour but u see santa! So u go in and see santa he gives a toy and takes pics then u go see mrs claus and she gives u a candy cane.. parents 2! Then u can go the the elves workshop which is my fav and they will take pics too... then they have reindeer and a sleigh u can take pics in...and hot chocolate on ur way out! We travel too go here...
