Vientiane Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Torrington

I accidently came across this Thai Restaurant on Tripadvisor with over 30 reviews and 4.5 starts, my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try. We ordered the pho soup for take out. Anytime we order take we are well aware that it is a little different than eating at the Restaurant. Something re-heating the food changes the taste, in my opinion. Much to my surprise that was not the case. Our food was amazing and just as good the next day. The second time we decided to eat there, all I can say is WOW... For under $35 dollars we had a delicious meal, a calming environment, and top notch customer service. My boyfriend ordered the drunken noodle with chicken and I ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp. Update: Went here for a second time and everything in the original review still stands. Food was delicious, staff was friendly and attentive, some of the best pineapple fried rice I've gotten in the area. This is now a go to spot for us.

Original review: Went here to get some pineapple fried rice and it did not disappoint. Walked in and it wasn't busy, it had a nice atmosphere with calm music playing. The menu is expansive with decent pricing. We got the pineapple fried rice and it was absolutely delicious. Got it a bit spicy to add a little kick and it wasn't oily or too hot where it was overbearing. This place is incredible - I can’t say enough good things!!!!! Not only is the food to die for (the pad see-ew will be on your mind for years after consumed), but I had some difficulty with picking up my food due to my driver falling through and they offered to bring it to me after they closed! I told them they could just take the food and I didn’t need a refund but they went above and beyond for no reason other than that they are just kind people.
