Maurices — Attraction in Town of Allegany

I had a bad experience with a manager here and have not returned. I recently visited a Maurices at another location and had forgotten how much I loved their clothes! At this particular location, however, I returned an item which still had the tags on it and the manager argued with me and said it smelled like fabric softener and that it had been washed - embarrassing and absurd to be treated like that as a paying customer. Why would I wear and wash something with the tags still attached!? Maybe that manager isn't even employed there anymore, who knows, but because of that asinine accusation I...

I enjoy shopping at the Olean Maurices. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The new manager is very outgoing as well. They are always there to help with finding sizes, or with suggestions for making cute outfits. If you’re looking for something that they happen not to have at that moment, they will get it for you. I visit this store a few times a month. Not just for the adorable clothes (which they are), but mostly to visit with the ladies...

I have been in the store for over 15 minutes and have not acknowledged. No hello, hi or welcome. Girl at the counter talked to her friend. I am not from here and was prepared to spend some money, but guess not here. Terrible customer service.if I could give zero...
