Jump Town USA — Attraction in Town of Babylon

Had my daughter's party here last week and it was a nightmare. Where should I start? They have a million parties happening at once,the whole place is run by teenagers, the manager is very rude,they don't even own a mop....and that's just some of the issues I had to deal with. Give your money elsewhere where it would be appreciated. Update: just received a call from the owner threatening me because I left this review. Telling me that me and my family are gang members because we were looking for tape in the drawers for the balloons because no one was to be found to help us set up. These people are ridiculous. Stay away from businesses like these. I am horrified. Never have I been treated this way. I can't believe people like this run a business. As per your reply to my review let me start of by saying no one from my party "loved" as you put it Amy the manager.If you checked the videos as you mentioned multiple times you can see that both party staff left the party unattended to bring in paper towels and a Swiffer that was requested by my guests because no one from your facility was doing anything to clean up the mess. As I mentioned on the phone but I guess you were too busy shaming me my guests and my family to hear that,that wasn't the mom that had to clean up the mess. It was another party guest that had to step in and clean up because nothing was being done. Kids and adults had to eat pizza with vomit from the sick child on the floor. As you saw in the messages I sent you from my guests,they were given napkins to clean the floor themselves. As per the bag that was lost since you checked the videos once again did you not see me going to the coat rack myself looking for the bag asking the staff for it and no one had any idea what I was talking about? I wasted half of my daughter's party doing your staffs job and I'm being shamed on top of that. I asked for help with the balloons from your staff and they looked at me baffled like I was speaking a different language. As for manipulating my daughter's words because like you mentioned she is a child, my daughter and her friends had a great time because of me and my guests not due to your staff. They did everything they could to ruin the party. Instead of at least hearing an apology for everything you put us through you have the nerve to call me and curse me out and my guests and blaming a child for getting sick. DISGUSTING. I had my son's 4th birthday party here yesterday. I unfortunately left unhappy with our service yesterday. This was our first birthday party here due to the amazing reviews and photos. I though this would be great to have a 4th birthday party at and it was for the kids, but not for any of the parents or 'Us" who spend the money for the party. I am giving this place 3 stars for the overall feel of this place and great bouncing experience the kids had. The pizza was also good. Also, the owner I am assuming was great at communication and explaining everything for the birthday event. She was experienced and was great to work with. All the parents told me how much fun the kids had bouncing around. I had to minus 2 stars due to the staff and overall experience with the way the place is ran. Honestly, it's like a birthday party mill. Kick one group out of a room and then put another birthday group, which I didn't like. This experience did not feel personalized at all. The staff didn't even know who the host was. Which is not good because they should be making sure that we are happy. My husband told me after the fact, that a male employee rudely told him to leave the room, which my husband replied "I am looking for my son". Who was the birthday boy!!! Also they need to come up with a better system on transferring to different rooms. Carrying shoes, coats and so on to another room was annoying. I had my coat on the whole time during my son's birthday event, carried my bags with me and didn't feel comfortable. Again, the worst was the staff not knowing the host, we pay for the party, we should also be happy. I didn't even know if their was 1 girl who ran everything, it was changing staff who was super young. They really need to work with their staff to learn basic party experience. We also were pushed out of rooms very rudely by the staff, some parents were grabbing or looking for their stuff and getting their kids. We understand we only have a certain amount of time in a room, but would greatly appreciate it not be done rudely.

Overall to sum up my review, kids had a great time, pizza great, owner great communication . Staff rude and not knowledgeable about learning who your host is. System of moving with your stuff from room to room. Feeling of being rushed and seeing this as a birthday party mill.

At the end of the party, the person I paid for my birthday party with, asked how was everything. I said it was ok. She gave me my receipt and she said you had 10 people run your party, here is the percentage for tip. Honestly, I was so close to not giving a tip. But I felt it was unfair to not tip. We had my son’s 5th birthday party at JumpTown USA, and it was truly the absolute best experience. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. I cannot say enough about Amy, the owner, who has been so caring, kind, and helpful throughout the entire process. You can tell this is a family owned business that genuinely puts their customers first.

We had some special circumstances when my son experienced a serious medical emergency and his original party had to be postponed. Amy went above and beyond, reaching out personally and making sure we could reschedule. She made what could have been a very stressful situation so easy, and her compassion meant the world to us. Communication was fantastic because she was always quick to respond and made everything seamless.

As for the party itself, it could not have gone more smoothly. The staff greeted us right when we arrived and immediately made my son feel so special. The facility was spotless with every room sanitized, and there were plenty of staff members to supervise and keep the kids safe while still having fun. The team running the party worked so hard and were incredibly friendly. One of the young women working the party even went out of her way to help my 2 year old go up and down the slide, which was such a thoughtful gesture and something I will never forget. At the same time, one of the young men played basketball on the trampoline with my son, which ended up being one of his favorite parts of the day.

The candy cannon was the cherry on top and was a huge hit with all the kids. It made for such a memorable moment that had everyone smiling.
