My bf and I have been here several times and it's always great! Being greeted by Mario as you walk in the door like you are family coming for Sunday dinner makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, lol. Upon being seated, Mario appeared a moment later and took our drink order and stopped back periodically to refill my prosecco. The calamari was delicious as was my dinner which was a combo of shrimp and chicken scampi style, over rice. My bf had the chicken Parm which he said was very good. Dessert was a raspberry crumb cheesecake and it was "absolutely " delicious! We were treated to an after dinner drink of limoncello, compliments of Mario. The only negative, and it's a small one. We moved to the bar for a cocktail and while the bartender was nice she seemed to be a little overwhelmed and took quite awhile to come over to us and get our order. I felt it was a little strange given the fact that the bar was pretty empty. Despite that, we will definitely come back and I recommend this place a million times over. Mario is a dear sweet man and you can tell how much he loves what he does by the way he treats his customers, like...
Read moreI don’t usually write negative reviews, especially for local businesses, but I have to say I was quite disappointed. My partner made us a reservation for Valentine’s Day. While the place itself looked nice and welcoming, we had issues with our entire meal. Since my partner and I don’t really drink alcohol, we each got a soda. One of us got coke and the other ginger ale. Both of them tasted funny and I let the waitress know, and didn’t charge us for. We then ordered the jumbo shrimp cocktail as our appetizer. The shrimp was medium sized at best and it only came with 4 pieces. For $16, that’s way overpriced. I would have been okay with 6-8 pieces. And finally, our meal. My partner seemed to enjoy his chicken parm (even though when I tasted it it was a bit rubbery) and I got the Rigatoni Al Forno. I didn’t mind the fact that there were while tomatoes in the dish, but the sausage was clumpy and disappointing. The taste was also meh. For whatever reason my partner would like to try this place again and order different things, but that fact that there was an issue with every aspect of the meal is a hard...
Read moreMy family and I stopped by here on a weekday to eat lunch together. Upon entering we were immediately greeted by staff and accommodated accordingly. The waiters provided us menus and provided their own tips when we questioned them on the best sellers.
We went with the Calamari and fried zucchini for appetizers. Both dishes were served fresh and tasted delicious. For entrees we went with chicken Parm, Pasta, and shrimp. Although the delivery took some time, it was expected as each dish was made fresh. The dishes were well proportioned and the waiter even took the courtesy to pack up our leftover for us to bring home.
Perhaps the most notable aspect of this family owned restaurant is the way you feel welcomed and accepted as family; Especially considering we were of a South Asian Background. The owner himself ( Mario ) came to us personally several times asking us if we needed anything, providing jokes, and making our visit more than just eating food.
If I am in the neighborhood again, I plan to come back. It goes without saying, but I ABSOLUTELY recommend this ...
