I initially contacted Tinting Motors back in May after picking up my new Tesla Model 3. After a few months of ownership I finally decided to pull the trigger and get it tinted. After countless positive reviews from other Tesla owners on Long Island I reached out to them on Thursday afternoon about a Friday morning appointment. Rami said they were pretty booked but said he'd look and give me a call back. Within 10 minutes he confirmed he could squeeze me in and told me I could drop off my car at 9am the next day.

Upon arriving I was planning on going with the cheapest option as I wasn't too worried about heat blocking. The guy at the shop showed me the different options & examples of how each looked. I was originally going to go 30% all around (minus the windshield) but after talking and seeing examples I decided 35% with the 3M ceramic would be perfect. Very knowledgeable staff and very accommodating.

Rami called me at 2pm and said my car was ready to go, upon arriving I checked it out and it was great, Rami explained the process and we finished up business. When I was looking to tint my car's widows I was calling shops around to get quotes. This was the only shop that actually tried to inform me and didn't just brush me off or tried to up-sell me a product. I spoke with both the shop's clerk and manager when I walked in, they were both super friendly.

I went for Sunset tint on the front and 20% on the sides. It was all done the same day but due to my work schedule I was not able to pick up the car until the next day. I was not in a rush but the manager very kindly offered to uber me to work while the work was being done. I picked up the car the next day without issues.

The prices are on the higher end but I knew this walking in. You definitely get what you pay for. I mainly wanted a quality tint with UV and heat reflection. My car interior stays much cooler now whenever I have to park it out in a sunny day. I also wanted a colored tint to make the car stand out a bit more and now I definitely notice more heads turning to check it out! Very happy with the results
