I had just driven 17 hours from Atlanta. I was at my destination " but wanted a bite to eat" before going in to shower" and ocourse get some sleep. At this point it was around 5 am, so I google the nearest breakfast place open or near to opening. I came across boulevard deli" which from the first inception, i thought was a great place" unti i met, who i believe was an owner , of this establishment. He had no customer service at all " i truly hope he was having a bad morning " because to me, he was obnoxious and rude" i will go on to say a flat out racist" To me these Koreans still haven't learned" to conduct themselves like businessman , when paying customers come into there establishment of color. Being 61 years of age I can still remember the same attitude at the fruit stands' throughout the 5 boro's of NY " which ultimately lead to a week and more of boycotts. I'm for one have my own resturan"t in ga and will proudly say we treat all" of our customers with the upmost respect " no matter what time of the day, it may be. And yes for those of you who may feel I'm just like him " a racist " no I'm not. 80 percent of my customers work for the local city management " and are not black. And yes we love them and treat them like we treat all our customers.
This nonsense has to stop. My great uncles fought for there" very being in our country" so they can make a living' and support their families.
He's lucky his business is not in the south, where I have my business. He would be ran out of business with that behavior. Please trust if he continues with that type of behavior he will meet his match. This is why these behaviors: continue to past onto the next generation. His response was he was busy" to busy to say goodmorning to a paying customer. ( The only one in the store) And to cap it off" he said if I didn't like ihis behavior"I could leave. Wow "ocourse I got my money back and left. I operate my business from 0430 til 2200 hrs 6 days a week to earn a living.
I certainly wasn't going to give him my hard earned money with an attitude like the one he had.
As the saying goes you never no' in business" who might stop inside of your establishment. Although" he wasn't to busy to accept my money " but too busy to greet me. (Hire some help). You have plenty local kids" and adults who probably would be happy for a job.

I hope he take look at himself ' because he has some internal issues. .
By the way I did find another location" about three miles away. Operated by a young Greek guy. ICalled deli and bagels an ihe was great! . His dad surly taught him great business savy." And like the other guy" it was just him and his cook" and all his guest was met with a good morning. Which were 6 with me Included. I'm just saying stop making excuses for...
Read moreThe team knows me by name. They are extremely friendly and accommodating. Food is always fresh and they have the BEST bagels in Farmingdale, especially for a deli. Salad bar is DELICIOUS and chopped fresh daily! Always crisp and lots of nutritious options to choose from. Plenty of seating. The oat bran muffins are REALLY good! I highly recommend this spot. Have been coming for 20 years and I think it's the best option in town. Thanks, keep up the...
Read moreSecond time I write a review and clearly they’ve deleted it. Only kept the nice ones. Why? Why lie about the horrible service you provide your customers. Who are clearly not paying you with Monopoly money. I rather starve than come to this place for lunch. I do not recommend. ZERO STARS !! Extremely disappointed at the way the counter lady treated me. And I’ve seen her treat...
