Sound of Heaven Church — Attraction in Town of Babylon

I remember the first day walking into Sound of heaven church, I didn’t have any expectations, and kept an opened mind, but at the same time I felt a bit nervous not knowing exactly what I was walking into. I visited this church to check it out and see what they were about. Prior to attending, I hadn’t been to church in a few years. I grew up in a big church where I didn’t feel a personal connection, and pretty much felt lost in the background. I visited a few other churches but it just wasn’t it.

That visit, that I thought was just going to be that one day, turned into 4 years. The welcoming and comfort I felt on day one will always be memorable. Everyone was so welcoming, it felt like family. Theres no judgement, everyone approaches you and knows you by name, which makes you feel included. All of the activities and events they offer are great. You don’t feel forced or pressured to do something you don’t want to do. The presence of God is definitely in this place, and you get teachings that’s you actually understand.

This is a come as you are, meet them where they are at church that I love. I don’t see myself being anywhere else but here. I thank the pastoral staff and its members/congregation for always making me feel welcomed, as well as the great friendships I made...

This place has completely changed my life!!! When I came to Sound of Heaven Church over 8 months ago and I was drug addicted and deeply broken from past hurts. I grew up in the church, was a worship leader and felt used by the places I came from! I was looking for a place to not only connect but to feel like I’m part of a family, but never got that so I turned away from God and didn’t want anything to do with church and God. Well God has a funny way of revealing truth and showing his love in the form of a remnant of people that embody just that... the love of God! This place is dedicated to its members and makes it a mission to establish truth through the unadulterated word of God! We are a church that not only loves and accepts all but we are a church that studies and worships God with every fiber of our being as well! I have been coming here for 7 months and from the first day I came, I was greeted with kindness. The worship is beautiful and healing, the preaching is anointed and I learn something valuable every time but the biggest difference here is that you can really see the fruit at this church, you can see and sense the evidence of Jesus being the center. As a result of this you will experience fruit in your life by getting involved here. It is a low-key, casual and diverse environment, not stuffy or cliquey at all. I have found valuable fellowship in the women’s group that meets monthly and can honestly say that I’m cultivating a second family. Supportive, generous, authentic people run this church and they clearly give all of themselves without asking anything in return.
