Fluid Dynamics Aquarium Services and Store — Attraction in Town of Babylon

I heard of this place before it was a local aquarium 😁 (it was a famous adult shop) and I knew the owner because he had come to my house to help me with a very complex 10 fish tank/ puffer problem. I totally trusted him he is really an expert. Imagine my surprise when our favorite adult store turned into an aquarium and this nice guy seems to be the owner. It’s important to patronize local businesses so they thrive. Especially local business like this with an expert who is kind and helpful and he even did a house call for me!! I entered the store and I was blown away. It was totally different first of all…😜 no XXX material just fish! But it’s really well presented. You can see all of the details . There’s black backgrounds that highlight the fish. What I liked was he had the most amazing collection of “small schooling fish“ that I have ever seen in my life. Most all tanks are dedicated to small fish and manageable fish there were no “Monster fish or red tail catfish“ but each of these tanks had the most incredible colors and some of the small Tetris were Tetras that are very rare and I’ve only seen coming into the hobby recently . I trusted them and I bought 16 yellow zebra Danios (not actually albino) and I put them in my 800 gallon tank filled with four and MBU PUFFERS. I trusted the store would have no disease or ick in the water maybe that was foolish but it worked out. The Danios are perfect and there was no disease or problems transferred. Talk about knowledgeable! These gentlemen know credible information about fish and about plants. They took time to speak with my husband about our aquarium as to what should and shouldn't be in there. They even informed us about the plants we currently have in our tank!

I walked in and immediately said, 'wow'! Extremely clean, spacious, and doesn't have a fish smell at all. My husband literally spent over two hours there because he was given awesome information to contemplate on. Their fish are extremely healthy and are the best looking fish I've seen on Long Island thus far, with awesome prices!

Awesome fish store! Probably the best on the island. Their selection is great, the shop is beautiful and all the tanks are spotless. They have some of the highest quality fish I’ve seen and some of the most difficult to find sourced from Europe, where breeding practices are much more sustainable and healthy. Service is the best I’ve seen at any store (and I’ve been to a lot). These people are truly passionate about fish and know what they’re talking about, you can strike up a conversation with them and they’ll talk with you for ages about interesting information.
