Ulta Beauty — Attraction in Town of Babylon

Worst ULTA on Long Island, all employees are uneducated, rude, & the store genuinely looks like it’s never been cleaned. The Employee with the horrible gigantic 2017 eyebrows & blue hair is very rude. When I continuously told her I did not want to part take in the sale they were offering she became irate & gave me attitude speaking to me rudely saying that i have no reason to be declining the sales offer. Also I would like to mention I asked if they had a product in stock & I was told they would check, 10 minutes later I had asked again if they had checked & they said they would do it right now, another 15 minutes passed & I had asked AGAIN, they had called someone in the back to check but after 5 minutes I wasn’t told anything, at the checkout I said I have asked multiple times & the blue haired lady said “well we don’t have it maybe that’s why u weren’t told” She than tried to force me into signing up for a credit card. I kindly declined her offer & told her I have been offered the credit card before & I wasn’t interested, she handed me a pamphlet & kept insisting I sign up. I understand it’s a part of the job but what’s not apart of the job is harassing me into something I don’t want. The blue haired big eyebrow woman than took my friend to the check out, my friends card had an issue & when my friend told the woman she wasn’t going to be purchasing her items today due to the problems she had with her card, the women once again began insisting with a rude voice & attitude she should try again & buy the products or try to sign up for the credit card. At this point I stepped in & told her we were not interested in what she was offering & just wanted to pay for our items & leave she said “whatever I’m just trying to help yall there’s no need for you to be rude” I am so unhappy with my ULTA experience as I have been a ULTA fan for years. Disastrous Haircut Experience!

I recently had the most disappointing and unprofessional haircut at Ulta Beauty .To say that I am dissatisfied would be an understatement. The lack of transparency from the staff only added to the frustration.

Firstly, there was absolutely no form or shape to my haircut. It was as if the stylist had no idea what they were doing. It seemed like they were either inexperienced or simply didn't care about the end result. My hair ended up looking like a complete mess.

What was even more infuriating was the fact that I was never informed that my hair was being cut by an assistant. I had assumed I was paying for the expertise of a skilled stylist, but instead, I got a botched haircut from an assistant who clearly lacked the necessary skills.

The worst part is that I had to cut my hair even shorter to salvage what was left of it. I do not spent money on a service that left me with an unsightly and uneven mess on my head, not to mention the time wasted in the salon.

I feel deceived and betrayed by Ulta beauty Salon for not being honest about who was cutting my hair. Had I known, I would have reconsidered getting the service altogether. I trusted them with my hair, and they let me down in the worst way possible.

I strongly advise anyone considering going to Ulta beauty Salon to steer clear unless they want to risk a disastrous haircut and an unpleasant experience. The lack of transparency and the shoddy service are simply unacceptable.

Had a wonderful experience shopping at this Ulta location. I recently went to this Farmingdale location as I was in search for cleaner make up products in my postpartum era. The store had ample parking and was super clean and had a huge selection.

I started to walk around the store and knew I had to ask for help. Karina greeted me and asked me what she could help me with. I expressed to her my interest in cleaner products and how I was looking for foundation. Karina guided me over to Tarte and said that aligned with what I was looking for in terms of cleaner ingredients. She helped me match the foundation to my skin tone and applied it to my skin to ensure an accurate match. I was impressed and grateful how seamless that was for her. I noticed her makeup looked polished and asked her if she had any tips for my day to day make up. She showed me moisturizer, primer and also bronzer for dressier days.

All the products Karina showed me matched my skin tone and aligned with what I was looking for. She really made my shopping experience easy and wonderful. I am so thankful Karina helped me and shared her makeup expertise. I will definitely be back.

There is also a full salon there where you can book an appointment for hair, makeup, coloring and so much more. I will definitely be back for a blowout.
