DO NOT BUY FROM MATTRESS FIRM EVER. I have had the worst experience and am so so angry I want to scream. What a joke of a company!

First, THEY messed up my order and delivery so when it was supposed to arrive 2 weeks ago to my new apartment, I slept on the floor my first night.

Then the next day they gave me a loaner bed, which I thought "okay, fine in the meantime" and now today, 2 weeks later, the delivery guys came and looked at the loaner bed and went out to the truck (I thought to get my correct bed) and then drove away! They didn't say anything to me, just up and left. And minutes later I get a phone call from a random woman saying that it is damaged and they won't take the bed back. They said to call my sales rep. And when I expressed my frustration, the woman hung up the phone on me.

And thus far, every time I try to call my rep from the store I ordered it from, he is never there and I always have to call back or leave a message and wait to get a return phone call. Including today.

And, if you try to call the corporate headquarters, you can never get through to speak to an actual person. Its automated system just sends you in circles.

I thought, wow my salesperson was nice, I got a great deal and was able to finance my purchase. But now I just want to cancel everything and go elsewhere. I am also expressing to all I know to never shop with this company.

I'm beyond livid!!

UPDATE When I was finally able to speak to someone from corporate, they were actually helpful. It's a shame it's so difficult to get ahold of someone though. My correct mattress has finally been delivered and the loaner was removed. Now that it was finally done, I'm relieved. I'm still frustrated that I even had to deal with this. If they had just delivered my correct mattress on the correct delivery date, I never would have been in this situation. P.S. my salesman was great! It was not his fault. It was everything after I left the store...

My husband and I had an incredible experience at the Mattress Firm in Farmingdale, NY. We were greeted immediately upon entering and then were assisted by Jim. He was patient, informative, friendly and beyond helpful. He asked us so many questions about our issues, our sleeping styles, our circumstances and more. He entered the info into their mattress finder system. We tested out several types of mattresses and each time Jim explained how they may or may not suit us. We had to leave in the middle of our shopping experience to pick up our dog from the groomers. We came back and Mike picked up right where Jim left off. Mike was so friendly and helpful. I have never felt more comfortable and heard by a sales person. Mike patiently worked with is on our financing options, gave us a great deal and went above and beyond staying late and never making us feel like a burden. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. We ended up purchasing a great hybrid mattress with adjustable base as well as pillows and mattress cover. We have purchased a few mattresses in the past and had trouble. This was our best experience by a mile. I highly recommend anyone go to this location and have these great sleep experts help you find what is right for you. So happy with the service...

Today my husband and I had the pleasure to work with Alex. I had read many reviews of how helpful he was with other customers, who raved about his knowledge within his craft. Well let me say, he is the best in the field. We have never had a salesperson take as much time as Alex did. We had a lot of questions, since it has been over 15 years since we shopped for new mattresses. Alex spend about 2 hrs with us, explained so many options that were available. He demonstrated how several of the mattresses were made, and made us feel very comfortable trying out many of them. Alex gave us many suggestions that were truly helpful with us making a decision. Never once did Alex try to push a sale, he truly cares about his customers. We purchased 2 mattresses, along with several misc items. We walked out a very happy customer, and felt so relieved and confident that we made the right decision. We will be recommending our family and friends to Alex at Mattress Firm. We can't wait to sleep on our new mattress, and for our son and daughter inlaw to sleep on the new one in our son's old room, when they come to visit.
