Multiple hand-written thank you notes for my loyalty as a Marriott Platinum member from the staff made my stay memorable. Really impressed with how genuine & friendly the front desk team is here. (Melissa was great!) Room was very clean and kitchenette was a nice plus during home remodel. Wish they had rooms with full kitchens though, but their loaner cooking equipment program seemed like an innovative idea. Some suggestions - the dishwashers were one of the cheapest Frigidaire models available. This wouldn’t be a big deal, however, the unit was unbelievably loud and couldn’t be run in a small studio room while sleeping. Upgrade to a quiet model when these are replaced in future! Also, the breakfast ingredients are locked up in a separate staff area to prevent inventory shrink outside of breakfast hours so night staff aren’t allowed to access them. Being an extended stay property with kitchens, the condiments should really be accessible to the staff to help guests out cooking in a pinch. A couple of pats of butter, ketchup, salt & pepper from the breakfast room would have gone a long way when cooking late at night and wouldn’t cost the hotel much. I’d even pay for some necessities if they had been available. Nice property though, highly recommend.

Multiple issues 1. I was called and told my room type would be unavailable even though it was booked over 6 months ago. We agreed on new accommodation 2 rooms(one with two queens, one with one queen and are connected) and one additional one queen bed room directly across the hallway. 2. Arrived at the hotel minutes after 6PM after a 3 hour drive. Our rooms was not ready for another 30 minutes. 3. The two rooms that was suppose to be connected due to traveling with children was not. The one room that was suppose to be directly across the two rooms was further down the hallway. 4. Upon inspecting the two queen bed room I found a male undergarment under the first layer of sheets and leftover moldy coffee in coffee pot. I have pictures of all of this and the manager was made aware. 5. Pack n play, additional towels, blankets and pillows requested days in advance and confirmed the day of was not in the rooms. 6. A false fire alarm went off early Sunday morning.

Oops, I should have read the reviews.... Learn from me, stay somewhere else😅 I stayed with the family for 3 nights. The view of the runway was super cool but that was the only good feature. The two bed suite was large enough but not well furnished. It's like they tried to renovate the hotel but only the floors and the walls. I can't even say with 100% the carpets in the stairs were replaced as it stank of animal urine, all three days. The staff was decent. Helped us get checked in and even brought us more coffee when we requested it. The photo of the luggage cart gives you an idea on the overall cleanliness of the facility. Spend your money elsewhere. Maybe across the parking lot at the courtyard lol

As a Marriott Platinum Elite member, I have stayed at many a Marriott property (including many nice / updated Towneplace Suites) and this might be the worst hotel (Marriott or otherwise) that I have ever stayed at. ||Picked the location as it's

in general the property is nice and modern (and definitely a step up from some of the older TownePlaces we've visited). Friendly staff and very good breakfast, too.

But... a few issues surprised us.

  1. In the exercise room, all three pieces of cardio equipment had problems -- not one or two, but all three. With the treadmiills, the TV was not hooked up properly (couldn't get sound and you could only get one channel as it is). Not a huge deal, but whatever. But the elliptical really surprised me -- it was basically busted, with a part having fallen off and with exposed wiring! Unacceptable. Frankly, if you can take pains to stock the exercise room with towels and keep it clean, why wouldn't you make sure the equipment is working???!!! I really hate it when I can't get a good workout when I'm staying at a hotel.

  2. No do-not-disturb sign in room. Don't know why it was missing, but as a result we got a knock on our door from housekeeping relatively early on Sunday morning. I called front desk to ask about getting a sign (I said just post it on the door). When we left at noon, the sign still hadn't come. Not a huge deal, but still...

  3. The fridge in room was VERY noisy -- kept cycling on and off throughout the night. If we were in a one-bedroom suite, it wouldn't have mattered. But being in a studio, it was definitely not a great situation -- woke me up a couple of times during the night.

So, again, the hotel overall seemed nice, but there were a few pesky problems -- enough that I'm not 100% sure we would return (though I guess it would depend on what else is in area -- we are thinking of coming back because we liked Robert Moses State Park and we have...

I was on business travel when I stayed at your hotel.

The room I was offered to stay in had an extremely foul odor. I believe it was coming from the stove that was very old with grease stains. The towels in the rooms were warn and the sheets were stained. The hotel needs all new linen.

The floors in the lobby had crumps and needed to be vacuumed.

When I requested to move to another the room the person at the front desk was very pleasant and switched my room to a larger suite at no extra charge.

However when I asked if there was availability across the street at your sister property - Courtyard Marriott, I was told that this hotel was sold out. When I spoke to my company’s travel department in the morning the Courtyard Marriott did in fact have availability. Which means that I was not told the truth by your front desk representative.

I didn’t leave the TownPlace Suites the next day; I decided to stay and make the best of it as the larger suite was cleaner and didn’t have an odor. (But the linen was still warn).

When I got home to check my credit card account I had learned that my personal credit card had been charged. It was only provided for incidentals as my room was pre-paid by my company. I immediately called when I learned about this error and spoke to a representative that stated that they would look into the situation and give me a call back. Which NEVER happened!!!

I will never stay at this hotel again nor would I recommend this hotel to my friends or colleagues.

I asked my travel department to strongly consider moving TownPlace Suites from our hotel...
