First off, finding a dress for me was impossible I went to 12 different stores all around long island and the city, I had dresses shipped in from out of state, it was a mess. I had a vision in my head and couldn’t find it.. I also only ever wear all black so all white for me was so hard. For me this vendor was the most important and helped me with SO much.
I cannot speak more highly of village bridal, Sabrina was who I worked with and Daniella the owner were incredible. I cannot thank the two of them enough. Allie and Amanda were also helpful as we got my sister’s MOH dress, my mom’s dress and step mom’s dress all here as well.
Sabrina and Daniella from the beginning totally understood my vision and were determined to make something work. I had tried on a dress on my first time at the store that I really liked but it wasn’t perfect in my head. I continued on in my dress search, hit multiple places including klienfelds which don’t get me started there put me in a dress double my budget ($9800.00) LOL. So i still continued to think about that dress I tried on at village bridal and eventually went back. Sabrina was helping me to determine what about the dress wasn’t “perfect” I was basically not a fan of the material it was a flat matte canvas material and I was looking for more shine. She called Daniella down and Daniella wasted no time, she got on the phone called California and spoke with the designer. They were able to basically Frankenstein me a dress. they would take the bottom/material of one dress of the designer and make the top of the dress i liked on it. (the bottoms were basically the same) For customizing my dress completely I was still under my budget.
I also inquired about getting black buttons sewn on instead of the white buttons down the back. the city quoted me $1,500.00. Daniella quoted me under $100.00 LOL i almost fell over laughing at what a joke the city was.
Daniella also helped me make a custom Black veil, this woman worked so hard to make sure it was everything I ever wanted/could imagine. She ordered multiple veils, tool, and appliqué. We finally decided on it and it came out amazing, we took tool and an appliqué off a different veil and customized a veil that they made in house.
Daniella also found a bunch of head pieces for me, one which I liked was originally white pearls and crystals but she was able to have them custom make it and remove the pearls and add black stones. I absolutely loved how it turned out.
she saved earrings for me that when they came in she thought I would like them and they were perfect I ended up buying them as well.
Overall like I said I cannot thank these girls enough, especially Daniella and Sabrina, they literally got my vibe and ran with it helping everything in my vision come true. My sister, my mom and step mom all their dresses and alterations came out...
Read moreI came here on my first time looking for a wedding dress, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. When I arrived, I was greeted by two lovely women, one of them being Natalie my personal stylist for the day. I told her my style, budget, and said I didn’t even wanna try on dresses outside of my budget. We then all walked around the huge store and see and feel every dress, which I loved (some places don’t do this). At one point, we had pulled about 10 dresses to try on and I suggested we stop to try them on now, and Natalie said to keep going and I could pull as many as I wanted. I really appreciated this because I didn’t feel rushed to put them on or like my appointment was being timed. After pulling about 15 dresses, I started to try them on. Natalie helped zipped me into every dress in the private dressing room. They have a beautiful large mirror area, with a stepping platform and three views so you that can see the dress from all angles. I can’t explain enough how great Natalie was and how I really appreciated her help. All of the dresses I tried on were beautiful, so their collection is excellent. They also have veils and blushers that you can try on with the dresses. I ended up finding a dress that I really loved. Unfortunately, the dress was $700 over budget, which is the reason why I took off one star. I didn’t want to fall in love with a dress outside of my price range, and my budget was pretty firm. Ultimately, I did find a dress somewhere else, but I still wanted to leave a review. If I didn’t find a dress somewhere else, I had full intentions of coming back and looking for more dresses closer to my budget because I really had a wonderful experience here. I would recommend this...
Read moreMy first time at a bridal shop was not a great experience. I felt like I was literally at supermarket sweep haven been only given an hour to look, pick and try on dresses. The lady assisting me was actually counting down the minutes to my time was up. I didn't go back. My visit to Village Bridal by Omnibus I walked in expecting the same, but that was not the case at all. I can honestly say I was treated with so much love.
From the moment I walked through the doors each lady working there greeted me with a huge smile and welcomed me with open arms. I was given so much time to look over the collections they had and Julita was a god-send bringing additional dresses for me to look over and try on. She made me feel so beautiful and comfortable the entire time. Honestly everyone made me, my sister and Grandmother feel like family there, laughing and going above and beyond in service. It was truly my day of celebration with these ladies! I didn't feel pressured to make a decision and had narrowed down to 2 selections. Beside the gorgeous dresses, the atmosphere and all of the ladies, especially Julita's personable and warm character, helped solidify my decision in coming back to look at and retry the 2 dresses I had liked. I said YES to my dress and I couldn't be happier with my decision.
Thank you so much for being the loving and caring people that you are, it is really something to be proud of and celebrate. I would highly recommend any bride-to-be to make their first stop at Village Bridal...
