Brighton Memorial Library — Attraction in Town of Brighton

I think its ridiculous this place charges late fees for CHILDRENS BOOKS. I will never come here again. There are many other libraries in Rochester that dont and the fact that you continue to when so many others have forgone them is ludacris. Sharing this from Google- Libraries across the country have been eliminating fines to one degree or another since the American Library Association recommended doing so in 2012 as a way to remove barriers to access among the needy. Although some may be concerned about going to the library during the pandemic, I can assure you that this location is taking the necessary steps to ensure patron safety. As I entered, my temperature was checked and I wrote my name and phone number on a sheet so if there was any exposure I could be notified. They have a good collection and this location is exceptionally clean. Enjoy your visit...
