We went there on Oct 22. 2024. We ordered mango sticky rice to take out after dinner. But after we left, we realized they didn’t give it to us. Then we called them right way, they told us, they will refund 12 dollars plus tax for our order. Today we received credit card statement. They didn’t refund it. Then I went to the restaurant to ask them, the receptionist told me, 12 dollars they took it as tips. I m like, what???? You tip yourself using our credit card??? We only spent about 71 dollars why I tipped you 12 dollars. I m only tip around 10% I remember that day, I wrote the tip is 8 dollars. Not 12 dollars. Then I asked him do you have copy shows I tipped 12 dollars? He said we don’t keep the copy. This is make me so sick. It is not because the money, but this kind of shady thing makes me feel so unsafe to go to this kind of restaurant which scam customer’s tips. I know there are lots of people even not check how much tip restaurants took it, but be careful they can scam your money. This is really make me sick. Never go there again!!!!!!! Never ever!! I m gonna call NY state consumer helpline to report them scan customer’s tip. They made up their own tips amount without customer knowing.
Re: the restaurant response:
Such a liar. Before we left we asked them to bring the mongo sticky rice, they didnot bring it to us. Now they said they did. If they brought it to us, why we left there? Last time when I went there and asked to see the receipt, they said they didnot keep the receipt, now they said they have the receipt. Who said the truth then?? If you have the receipt with my signature with tip amount 12 dollars, I give you permission you can post to google review. let every one see it. I had file the complaint against your restaurant, before I saw the respond, I thought I just let it go, only few dollars who cares. Now you guys really went too far. Just wait for Division of consumer Protection...
Read moreMy friend and I visited this restaurant for lunch today, and unfortunately, we had a disappointing service experience. To start, the waiter didn’t notice that my friend’s water glass was empty and didn’t refill it throughout our meal. I also ordered a Thai Iced Tea, and when I found what seemed to be a short hair or string in my cup, I mentioned it to the waiter. Instead of handling it professionally, he responded dismissively, saying, 'I think it’s coming from you,' in a cold tone. As a person with long hair and wearing a blue shirt and white pants, I couldn’t find anything similar on myself. This response was not only unhelpful but also made us feel uncomfortable.
Throughout the meal, we ordered quite a bit of food, but when we were ready for dessert, the waiter had not cleared the empty plates from the table. When I politely asked him to clear the table, he seemed to laugh it off, which added to our frustration.
When we paid the bill, I shared my concerns with a female manager (I assume she was the manager), and she was polite and professional, but the waiter’s behavior remained frustrating and left a negative impression.
Regarding the food, we shared the Tom Yum Seafood Hotpot, grilled pork, and mango sticky rice. The grilled pork and mango sticky rice were both good. The Tom Yum hotpot was a bit too sweet for our liking, although the seafood was fresh and well-prepared. I enjoyed my drunken noodles, which I asked to be made less sweet, and they were spicy and flavorful. My friend, however, didn’t enjoy her green curry, as it was too sweet and lacked the depth of flavor she expected—it was also more soupy than creamy.
While the food had its highlights, the service was a major letdown, and it overshadowed the overall experience. Given the poor service, I don’t think we’ll return. Despite the issues, I still left a 10% tip, though I really felt the service...

Service, however, was shockingly bad. I'm surprised they have customers with how rude the service staff were.
Not only did they give us the wrong orders but they also shouted at us to "never come back". We ordered take out more than half an hour before the store closed so they wouldn't have to wait for our dishes and we had clarified with them that we could sit at a table and eat (they later changed the story to "we could sit and wait").
We got up to leave hurriedly when they told us the store was closing, feeling slightly bad. To our surprise, when we were leaving, they asked if we tipped (we did, paying the same amounts as we would have had for dine-in) and demanded we return to clear our trash ("are you guys not going to clean up after yourselves?" — what kind of restaurant does this??).
I'm truly impressed by their attitude — they told us "you can come back" after we went back to hear their side of the story (after asking, of course, if we've tipped). Frankly, I would never step foot in this place again. Clearly there is an issue with the store management if they have such rude and bitter staff. Don't waste your time at this place, there are plenty of comparable Thai Restaurants you can support.
I would have given them 0...
