After calling and speaking with mike I decided to go with them for my sisterās Christmas present, which was a remote starter after speaking with Mike multiple times and deciding to purchase the gift certificate fast-forward a couple weeks when we made the appointment speaking with Mike he told me 9 AM upon arrival today, showing up at 9 AM they did not open their doors until 935 after asking Mike why my appointment was made for 9 AM when they do not open until 930 right off the bat. He was very dismissive and told me that I did not speak with him and that he did not help me. Then said that they did not have my name in the system for any appointment today and insisted that they would still be able to get it done, even though I did not have an appointment when I had them on speakerphone when I made the appt because my sister was right next to me and itās her only day off so thatās why we made it for Wednesday at 9 Am. It is now 3:15 in the afternoon passing this establishment multiple times my car has not moved once and I am being told that itās going to be finished around 6 PM and I believe this is due to the man at the desk being rude with me this morning. Letās not forget that Iāve also been to this place now three different times for installs and have one of the radios go bad on me in less than a year and a half which then I also had to repay for so please be aware of jazz audio, especially the counter guy mike, as he is rude, dismissive, and outright unprofessional. After this being my worst experience yet with jazz audio, I am deciding to never come here again, and would rather pay to have a brand new remote starter put inside this car God forbidden ever fails. Customer service is definitely not a priority in this establishment. On a 14 wrangler and a 08 vue and also there was no invoice number just a note that said see gene in the gift certificate that mike also tried to give me an issue with saying they always have invoice numbers on them. And upon calling gene up he did say he wrote it out so...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wish I didnāt have to write this a second time, but here we are.
The first review I posted was taken down after Gene, the owner of Jazz Audio, personally called me to discuss it. I genuinely hoped the issue would be resolvedābut unfortunately, I was wrong.
My husband bought me a $1,000 speaker system from Jazz Audio as a Christmas gift. After bringing the Jeep back in, he was convinced to āupgradeā to a $2,000 package, which included a new radio and subwoofer. Since day one, the system has been a nightmare. The radio constantly cuts out, and I've had to bring my vehicle in multiple times to try to get it fixed.
When I recently asked for a printout showing how many times Iāve brought the Jeep in, I was told the records were in their āold systemā and are no longer accessible. Shame on me for not demanding written receipts every time.
After many back-and-forth conversations, Mike eventually told me the radio I was sold had a known manufacturer recall and that they were just āwaiting on replacements.ā He assured me that I hadnāt been forgotten. But when I followed up again, Gene got on the phone and flatly told me to āmove on.ā Funny how his tone changed again once I left a review.
Gene, you knew this was a manufacturer defect. You promisedāafter the holidaysāyouād make it right. That was six months ago.
For someone whoās been in business this long, you should know how to do the right thing. Maybe this review will help someone else avoid losing $2,000 on a system that doesnāt work and service that goes nowhere. And yes, Geneātelling a customer that "$2,000 isnāt a lot of money" says everything we...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI bought a viper 2 way alarm system from them for almost $600 after tax 2 years ago. After less then a year my 2 way key started acting up all the lights would start blinking and making noise and nothing would work a little less then half the time I used it. After I couldn't take it anymore I started using the spare. After a couple months the whole remote start and both keys did not work at all. I went to have it checked out by them and right away mike was trying to sell me a new key remote for $100. I refused to buy another key and asked him to please just get the starter working with the one remote I had that was working. His guy had it working in 10 to 15 minutes then tried to tell me he would normally charge 75 but would only charge me 50 for a whole 15 mins worth of work that should of been fixed for free. I bought the starter there and they are the ones that installed it. A almost $600 viper auto start should not fail that quick. My old car I had a $150 no name starter and it lasted until I sold the car 8 years later. Also while I was there a woman came in for the same problem and she said it was the second car she had the same problem with the remote starts. She also said she would never return. I was also told by mike when I was leaving that my 2 way remote was completely shot and tried selling me one again. I refused, went home and put a new battery in my 2 way remote and it is now also working fine. Not good business. Just keep try selling you stuff you don't...
