Castle Ice Cream — Attraction in Town of Clayton

Food and ice cream was good but the service/workers are the worst I've ever seen. We come to 1000 Islands every year and Castles was always the best place to go for Ive cream but over the last 5-6 years it's gone downhill. We've gone from going 3-4 times a trip down to once. The most recent being the workers shutting the outside lights off and leaving before people had finished their ice cream. What the hell kind of disrespectful stuff do you employ. It says you're open until 10 yet your employees shut all the lights off and are leaving in their vehicles at 9:50 before customers had left. Absolutely pathetic, we will be taking our business elsewhere....

Absolute worst place i’ve ever been. TERRIBLE employees with attitude and the prices are absurd for the amount of food you get. i went in there recently and the girl working the front counter didn’t greet me despite having no one in line and throughout the whole interaction didnt say anything. Then had an attitude with another customer. The owners of this place need to get their stuff in check as well as their employees in check. These rude teenage girls are absolutely terrible . i wish i could give zero stars because that’s not the only time i’ve had a bad experience at this sh!t...

If you’re expecting to get a full meal here, we’ll forget about it. I purchased 3 small fries along with hamburgers and hot dogs. When the food arrived, I was blown away with how LITTLE amount of fries each tray received. I asked the young girl working if this is all you get for $2.30. When she came back, she told me this is all you get, so either keep it or get a refund. Other customers around me could not believe it either. You can literally count the number of fries.
