Our first experience; EH- made a reservation online no issues however it says it’s upstairs when it really is not; literally a boat dock restaurant - overpriced for what it is ! our waitress Jocyln should know or have gone in to ask the bartender the bourbon selections as he asked for Bullet and she’s like idk
so why not ask? Proceeded to order a manhattan on the rocks, asked for no cherry juice & basically was given bourbon đŸ„ƒ on the rocks - no vermouth ; so perhaps also the bartender needs training? Took almost 15 min for that and a French 75 - not busy w patrons 😐 On menu today was a special for chicken francese , she had no clue how to say Francese and was quite surprised when he ordered the special and said it correctly she looked puzzled!! đŸ„ș like what are you ordering ? We even explained it again I ordered fried walleye and she came back to ask within minutes.. you ordered broiled right !? I mean what happened with a paper and pen so waitresses don’t make errors and look foolish (this all reflects on the tip) oh and the plastic water cup was cracked had to ask for another; asked a girl wiping down tables to clean one of our chairs as it was so sticky ! I seriously suggest a training seminar of the staff and bartender.. not a great first impression when...

I have been here a handful of times. I think the atmosphere and setup is generally really good. The food is good, I'd say above average. I really like the outdoor patio and game area. I have found the service at the bar to be on the slow side each time I have been there. Recently, I stopped in on a Thursday afternoon in the summer to have a couple drinks and play some cornhole. Inside and outside seating was open. Both areas were being served by the bartender only. Obviously not the bartender's fault that she was the only person servicing the entire restaurant, but regardless resulted in a very long time to even be able to put a drink order in. After close to 15 minutes I was able to put in a drink order. My order was taken the same time as a couple that had just walked in. There were only 4-5 people at the bar at that time so it should not have been difficult to remember that I had been waiting for quite a while for a few simple drinks. The bartender served the couple their drinks first, at which time I decided to leave. Sounds petty, but if someone has been patiently waiting to order a couple of simple drinks for close to 15 minutes, I am used to having a bartender understand that their drinks should...

Ok this was a joke on us. first it's in a really wierd place. Like they took an old dirt parking lot and storage building at the end of town And some genius said let's put a restaurant here. ( Do note the sarcasm). I would have overlooked this if it had fabulous food. I'm having a hard time finding good food in alexandria bay anymore. The crab cakes were just so so, and they were supposed to be on quinoa and purple rice.. With a Citrus topping. No one said spicy.. I have food allergies and meticulously comb the menus. First there was no quinoa and the rice was plain sticky white and they threw on a blackened corn salad which had finally chopped peppers that i'm allergic to. And the citrus topping was very hot 'spice 'wise which means cayenne or tobasco which are both from peppers. Needless to say I was ill that night and the next day. My partner had the walleye with coleslaw and fries. The slaw in an oversized medicinea cup .. Maybe a tablespoon!? Average fries. Fish, same as mine . So so. My drink was okay.It was a mixed drink, but they served the beer in plastic cups.I mean come on now. The whole dinner was a bad memory. We'll not be back. Servers were fine and pleasant. Prices were high for what we...

The Peanut Butter and Jam Bliss Burger lived up to its reputation. This signature half-pound burger, made to order, features thick-cut bacon, cheddar cheese, haystack crispy onions, house-made jam spread, and a peanut butter-infused peanut sauce, all served on a toasted bun. The unique combination of sweet and savory flavors made for a memorable first bite. While the burger was juicy and slightly heavy for lunch, the crispy onions may have helped balance the richness. Pairing the meal with a whiskey sour, we found the drink slightly strong on alcohol but still enjoyable. The service was outstanding, with bartender Val providing excellent hospitality. Finding the restaurant requires a bit of navigation—after spotting the sign, drive around to the large black building. The entrance, marked by signage for the restaurant and bar, is located near the water. Overall, lunch was exceptional, and we look forward to exploring more of the menu. If you’re in Clayton, this spot is well worth the visit, whether for lunch or a dinner reservation with friends and family.
