Approximately a week ago I had the unfortunate task of liquidating a large coin collection of both foreign and domestic coins I inherited from my father’s estate thirty-four years ago. The evaluation took approximately 7 ½ hours but was extremely worth it. Not only did I get the best quote but went away with both knowledge and a good feeling that I got top compensation for my dad’s prized collection. Looking back, I am so glad that I did the due diligence by getting three quotes and seeking out Ferris Coin & Jewelry. In summary their appraisal was three times that of one dealer and several thousand more than another.
