I was at this pizza hut tonight with my girlfriend. We arrived around 9 pm. At first we were the only customers, though a family if 4 with two youngish kids came in around 5 minutes later. We decided to eat in and the waitress was extremely sweet and honestly seemed happy to talk to\take care of us. The family of 4 had been standing at the counter at first but quickly sat at a booth right next to us. We recieved our food promptly and started to dig in. Maybe 5 minutes later the family's food came out. It was packaged up like it was to go, and a different woman then the waitress brought it out. She had a very aggressive manner, and told the family that they were not allowed to eat there, and that her dining room closed at 9:30. When the family didn't get up at first, she reiterated this, stating "you need to leave". They quickly got up and left. We checked the time after they walked out- itnwas only 9:32. I feel terrible that I didnt say anything in the moment but was kind of shocked. The woman then yelled at the waitress. I asked the waitress what the other woman's name and position was- apparently this is Samantha, the manager. She must have heard me, because Sam came up and informed me that she wasn't referring to me, but to the other people, who apparently had asked for a deal that was a carry out special but then tried to sit down, and get service from her waitress. I totally understand how that could be frustrating. However, the entire family A. Mostly spoke a different language between themselves and the parents seemed to have a heavy accent. I am not sure they understood the whole carry out at first. And even if that were the case, anyone could see a deal, ask for that, and not notice it was carry out. I have worked in customer service for years, and I would not have said a thing in the managers place. At most I would have just mentioned, "hey, in the future this is a carry out only price, totally get you didnt see it, just a heads up". Heck, it would have been rude, but she could have said if they were eating in they had to pay the difference. But kicking people out for something like that and telling then they aren't allowed to be there? Pizza hut might want to look into getting a new manager for this location- the place was a ghost town, but she managed to kick out 50% of her locations customers and offend the other 50%. Will not be going back-hope the nice waitress gets...
Read moreFirst off Pizza Hut is my favorite. The taste is unbeatable. The food is great when a certain staff member named LOGAN is working I will give credit to him. When he is not in the other staff must refuse to answer the phone. I am so kind and polite over the phone but it is so frustrating to call over and over and over again because I would like to make a simple change to my order. I have been waiting for my food for about 1 hour and 10 min and still can't reach the store by phone. I feel like the staff have no care for the customers. They seem disobiedent and petty. I can't stand ghetto, snobby people with no respect for others.. Especially when they are customers PICK UP THE PHONE. The only time I have EVER gotten someone through the phone it has been a kind man named logan. I have had a female literally answer the phone, Tell me to wait.. And then hang up on me and never answer again. FIRE HER SO SHE CAN GO GET BENEFITS OR SOMETHING. I almost drove up there with my wife to give them a piece of my mind that day. This is my final straw getting pizza hut since this is the only store in my area. I LOVE PIZZA HUT SINCE A CHILD but I officialy revoke my buisness to this store. You can't even answer the phone. I ordered from you guys more than twice a week, every week for 2 months to help feed kids at my job durring a program. You guys still can't get it right. Where's the customer appreciation, What happened to simple respect for others. I can't wait to move near another store. 485 Deleware...
Read morekind service fast and polite the only thing that sucks is the pricing in the amount in quality and quantity of food you get I just paid $13 for a personal pan and a 2 L soda and it looks like one of those one circular round pizzas you would get out of the freezer section at any gas station for 5 or 6 bucks Papa John's is beating them their large stuffed crust starts at 13.99 a stuffed crust from Pizza Hut the place that basically I wouldn't say a vented it but made it popular the stuff Chris starts at $26 for a large pizza nothing else need to come down on their prices offer better deals and not just have the salad bar they need to bring back a lot of the restaurants where I sit down and dine in as an option and the pizza and pasta buffet for around $13 I need to bring back the Endless Pizza and Pasta as well Pizza Hut is still good but they need to change a lot and bring back a lot of their old school stuff and do some price marketing and rebrandon because it's not affordable
give them props for kindness and this sign I seen it for them to tell people to please put their phones away when they're at the counter we will give you 100% attention is nice because if you are sitting in the dine-in nobody should have their phones out it should be old school family style sit down
Both Good & bad but can really ues some really big changes to all pizza huts I like the people here they are kind... but what get for what pay You don't get a nuff food for what you pay but that staff here are really...
