I went there for a late lunch around 3pm after a 3 hour trip from MA. I ordered an appetizer, never ending dipping sauce, and the unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks. After ordering our server asked which soup I wanted to which I answered, and she then asked my boyfriend as well. We were a little confused after she walked away bc we didn’t know we BOTH would get soup. Initially I was going to eat the soup and breadsticks, and he was going to eat the salad and we’d shared the appetizer. Upon her delivering our food, One salad was brought out, one Breadstick container and two soups. Once we received our bill we noticed our tab was a little too high, only to see we were charged for TWO of the unlimited meals. My boyfriend asked our server about the charge to which she responded with “well what do you want me to do about that?” He asked if she could take it off considering we only asked for one and she went and got the manager. The manager came back and asked if there was anything wrong with the food, and he said no, it’s just that we didn’t order one of them. She said that since we there was nothing wrong and we arent supposed to share we were still gunna have to pay for both unlimiteds despite receiving just the soup for two and nothing else. And that’s not even the worst part. We had only brought about $50 since eating out our food only costs about $30-$35, and our tab ended up being almost $52, so my tip went to paying for the item we didn’t order, (I had planned to tip the rest) and i apologized for that by writing it on the receipt. Both my boyfriend and I were very embarrassed by that and he was holding the receipt close to himself. Our server asked if we were all set and kind of like, tried to grab our receipt, he moved it back a bit but ultimately handed it to her. She glanced at the receipt in front of us and took a step back and started actually looking at it, so the both of us got up to walk away, after turning the corner I realized I hadn’t grabbed my phone. I was to embarrassed to go over so my boyfriend went back to our table to see it wasn’t there (this only being LITERALLY LESS than 15-20 seconds from getting up) I asked the host if they had found a phone in the bathroom or something and he said no. Another server asked were we were and offered to go look, turns out, our server had it WRAPPED IN NAPKINS In her little apron thing? I don’t know what her intention with that was, but in every restaurant I’ve worked in, if a guest lost something especially of value it’s usually put in the managers office or in the hosts stand. Overall, this experience was weird and...
Read moreI don’t think I’ve even been to an Olive Garden of this level. I was welcomed in and seated promptly. Then after being seated for about 2 minutes I listen to one of the servers start complaining to the bar tender how a customer let her a small tip on a large ticket, and how she thought it was okay for her to confront the customer on why they didn’t leave her a great tip. Basically stomping her feet in discuss with the customer. Then she went back to serving. So as I sit and watch I then get to watch the bar tender go to make a coffee drink. I notice the bar tender having trouble opening a package with her hands so she used her teeth to open the package. This is all while I sit and wait for my waitress. Around 15 minutes elapsed before my waitress made her grand appearance. I can’t blame her she was working a lot of tables by herself and for what it was she was doing a very good job. She took 3 tables orders all at once and probably slammed the kitchen but what else could she do. When she arrived back with my drink and soup she presented me with the best looking bowl of soup I’ve ever had arrive to me at any Olive Garden I’ve been to threw out the who US. It’s was nice you could see the potatoes, meat, and kale everything was there and at a great temperature. The bread sticks on the other hand where not what you want they where not soft and fresh. They had sat for a while the ends where hard and I socked them in the soup to make them soft. Everything was good for a bit my food was delivered and once again great looking for the seafood was on the plate and looked great. The temperature was good it smelled fresh and was over all great. But as good as it was once again. We hear the other waitress again complaining that the kitchen messed up someone’s order and that she better not get another messed up order while she stormed threw the store to the kitchen to make her opinion known. I personally find it very unprofessional she would act this was not making this a place you would want to bring your kids. My waitress was excellent but as for the other staff working I question they seem rude and unprofessional probably not the best location to visit if you want good service. The food though was good and...
Read morewanted a fun little girls night with meatless options, i usually give leniency to closing staff, however this trip was just not great. We arrived at 9 (two hours till restaurant closing) when arriving there was no one greeting at the front, there was confusion on where to sit us. When we get to our table our waitress seemed unhappy to be there, and felt as if she wanted to rush us through our meal, she didn’t give us her name and quickly asked us for our drinks then rushed away. After about 15 minutes waiting for drinks she brings us stale cold breadsticks, then rushes away before asking if we were ready to order. I did order an alcoholic drink and it was as if she was not asking for IDs from any of the guests around. The highlight of our experience was the fried mozzarella. After this we ordered our food, I got the soup salad breadsticks, and wasn’t made aware until my friends food arrived that the soup I ordered was no available for the night. During our hour and half there she only checked on us about once, gave us salad that was underdressed and never asked if we wanted any cheese on our meals. Thankfully there were tablets at the table to pay because once we were ready to go she was no where in sight, we did need a box but after waiting for about 15 minutes we decided that it was not worth it paid and left. When leaving we tried to thank the hostess at the front and they were too involved with their own conversation that they did not respond. We have had many interesting and not so great experiences here but today took the cake and was the worst we’ve ever...
