This rating is solely based on last night's experience (Mother's Day). Not any other day, as we have been here many times before & never had a bad experience like the one we had last night.
My Husband took me out here last night for Mother's Day. He had made reservations ahead of time so when we got there, we only had like a 2 minute wait (Good, so far). Shortly after being seated, the waitress came over & got our drinks order. While waiting on the drinks, she brought us over those delicious biscuits that everyone loves. They were nice and hot, fresh out of the oven. The bad thing is, they were under baked & doughy. She came back & gave us our drinks & took our order.
To be fair about last night's dinner, we know that they were slammed busy & things probably were not going so smoothly for them. Our dinner took about an hour to get back to us after we placed our order. Again, that's not the issue that we had.
Here's the issue: I had ordered the Ultimate Feast & my Husband had ordered a Surf & Turf (Sirloin Steak & Seafood). Keep in mind I had not eaten all day so I couldn't wait to dig in into my dinner. But before we were able to eat, they hadn't given us silverware. We asked our waitress for the silverware. She went to get some. She comes back empty-handed & proceeds to tell us that ALL of their silverware were dirty & they had none but that she can give us plastic takeout utensils to start with until the other came out of being washed. We were like: Oooh-kay 🫤🙄 With my dinner, I had ordered some hush puppies (these were so nice & hot & yummy). As soon as we got the Plastic Fine Silverware, I took a forkful of rice. It was cold. I'm like ok, rice can cool down a lot faster than other foods, so I put that to the side & decided to start on my shrimp, they were cold. I put my plastic fork down & touched the rest of my seafood (ALL COLD). I wanted to end the dinner right then. My husband asked if all ok & I was telling him about all my food being cold, I'm painfully watching him try to cut into his tough sirloin steak with a plastic knife (he had asked for the meat to be medium-well).
The waitress came to check on us & I asked her for some boxes. She noticed I hadn't really touched my food & asked if everything was alright. I politely & with no attitude, told her: my food came out cold from the kitchen. To be fair, she did ask me if I wanted her to take it back to get reheated. This may be a, "Me thing" but, I never send my food back cause I don't want someone in the back getting pissed and possibly doing something to my food. This is any where I go. I just simply told her: No thank you, that it was not necessary & I would take home to reheat.
She told us ok, and that she would bring us the check. Shortly after she came back with 2 - 5% Off Discount Cards for next time (I'm sure that they were one per visit). She then returns back with our check. Yep! Full charge. Ok, we weren't really expecting anything to be taken off the bill but a nice gesture would have been nice for the not so great experience that we just went through.
What gets me even more is that, our waitress probably did not even mention any of this to the Manager, as we didn't have anyone come talk to us. One would think that a Waitress/Waiter would let their Manager know of something like this so they can get feedback and in turn they can address the back of the house so that their practice of quality of food doesn't go down in standards.
The nice thing about all of this, my Husband gave the 2 - 5% Off Discount Cards to the Couple across from our table who were there with their child. They thought it was very kind & sweet & appreciative. Turns out, he is a Barber, gave my Husband his business card & told my Husband that the next time he was in need of a haircut to give him a call & he would take care of him.
I thought that was so kind of the man to do. We weren't looking for anything. My Husband just wanted to I guess, Pay-it-forward,...
Read moreDamien, who likes to refer himself as Brandon the Australian vampire, had a life full of unexpected twists. Born in the late 18th century, he was turned into a vampire by a mysterious figure while working as a sailor in the British Navy.
He spent centuries wandering the world, trying to find his purpose and make sense of his immortal existence. Along the way, he encountered various supernatural creatures and humans who shaped his perspective on life and death.
During the 1990s, while exploring the vibrant nightlife of Sydney, Damien met a charming woman named Kylie. They fell deeply in love, and for the first time in centuries, Damien felt a sense of belonging. Kylie was a free spirit, a traveler, and an artist, and her zest for life was infectious.
Tragically, their happiness was short-lived. Kylie fell gravely ill, and despite his vampiric abilities, Damien couldn't save her. In her final moments, she revealed that she was pregnant with their child.
Determined to raise their child, Damien became a single father and devoted himself to his daughter, Aria. He struggled to balance his immortal life with the responsibility of parenthood, but he found solace in the love and connection he shared with his daughter.
As Aria grew up, Damien worked various jobs to provide for her, including a stint at Red Lobster. He found that the routine and anonymity of the job suited him, allowing him to keep a low profile while still being able to support his daughter.
Despite the challenges of being a single vampire father, Damien found joy in watching Aria grow into a bright and independent young woman. He shielded her from his immortal nature, wanting her to live a normal life free from the burdens of his supernatural existence.
Now, as he navigates the demands of his job and single parenthood, Damien holds onto hope for a better future for himself and his daughter. He dreams of a world where vampires and humans can coexist, where he can reveal his true nature to Aria, and where they can face the challenges of life together, as a family.

Read moreAugust 2025: Returned to Red Lobster for lobster again and it was even better than last time! The lobster, crab, and shrimp were all cooked perfectly—so soft, tender, and flavorful.
Our server Jennifer was such a delight. She mentioned she recently started, but you would never know it from how attentive and helpful she was throughout the meal. We had a small issue with the side of broccoli, and she immediately took care of it with a smile. Her manager Duane also came by, and he was so gracious—it really made us feel taken care of.
To finish, we tried the chocolate cake, and wow—SOO sweet and rich, absolutely delicious! A perfect ending to a wonderful dinner.
Thank you, Jennifer and Duane, for making our night so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back again!!
Previously Thanksgiving dinner isn’t necessarily turkey. In fact, my daughter LOVES — SEAFOOD! So Red Lobster⚠️ HERE WE COME!!
It feels pricey but the food and charms are certainly worth it. We try to combine the best we appreciate but it can get tricky. At the end, the combos ARE the best deals. 😬
We let the waitress know we didn’t need everything at the same time, and this helped us manage the food —The first dish came earlier. Still, at the end, after the 2nd dish and dessert, my daughter ate so much to give her an aweful tummy-ache!! I felt so bad… 😭
I couldn’t believe how available they were. Although I’d made a reservation, especially being right before thanksgiving, it was really unnecessary.. Albeit it was very early at 4PM.. Even when we were leaving around 6, you could have walked in without any wait.
Bottom line, a bit pricey but great experience if you want...
