Absolutely love this place. It looks small from the outside but it’s a pretty good size on the inside. They have a lot of unique items there.
You can get fresh veggies, dried seaweed wrappers that my kids go crazy over. The best selection of frozen dumplings and dumplings sauces. High end noodles like Bulldock Ramen and Ichaban,
Their frozen ice cream and frozen desserts are unmatched. You can buy a single serving or the whole box. So far everyone of their treats has been exquisitely delicious. My kid’s favorite is the Corn on the cob ice cream, don’t knock it until you try it. My favorite ice cream is any flavor by Melona.
I’ve been to many Asian markets I. The capital district area and by far this place always fills my shopping cart.
Although neither clerk smiles, they are polite and decent people. The place is always clean, plenty of parking. It does not have these typical fish smell because they don’t sell live or fresh fish from what I can tell. Everything is either frozen or refrigerated.
They have small restaurant of some sort going on in there. There’s a place to sit and eat. I have not dined there so I cannot tell you about their food or menu options. There is a small restroom and it is handicapped accessible.
When you go there tell me how...
Read moreI'm an inspiring Chef & very culinary curious. This place is a gold mine. Great place, great people. I personally visit Kims 2x a week. I wish I would have found this place earlier. They carry essentially everything you could ever want. If you're on the market for various ingredients you will not find at your Whole Foods, Price Choppers & your local Hannaford than this place has it all in regards to Asain ingredients/products. They even make a small number of hot meals you can have made to go, as well as a self serve Ramen station.
Thanks to everyone at Kims for providing the products and level of service that you offer. I will be...
Read moreI'm completely unqualified to offer a review of any Market, much less an Asian Market, but Google asked me to write one, and we all have to do what Google says.
Do. What. Google. Says.
I have been to Kim's exactly one time, and my experience was pretty alright. It's not very large, compared to other markets I've marketed at in the past. They had a good amount of interesting products. I couldn't tell you if their prices were reasonable or not. I bought some fun snacks.
No major complaints or accolades that I could offer, really.
Check them out! Your opinion is probably way...
