This store features an indoor "man trap" type entrance. This is friendly to those that may be sensitive to the presence of security personnel when making a purchase.

This business will scan your NYS ID card(s) upon entry. This is done several times on premises.

(Liquor stores only ID if you look under 45. Beware: several cannabis shop owners have been known to sell data as well to 3rd parties for profit.)

Products:

Typical NYS selection. Brands that are above average price and mid teir quality, with outrageously priced strain options. ( Nanticoke, heady tree, rolling green, etc...) Products are sold in typical packaging, plastic or glass containers with no moisture control in any of the brands tested.

NOTE: Be sure to check the rung up cost of items as compared to what is being charged. There are reports of price deviation from online menus to rung up pricing.

Some labeling (heady tree) does not feature a production date, only a "use by" and "expire" date, which are the same date. This may be a violation of state laws.

Quality notes: While the product did burn well, it is obvious "quick cure" cryogenic methodology. Not necessarily the business fault.

Vaporizers are of typical quality, with some brands exhibiting signs of age and discoloration due to length of shelf life. Some Vaporizers show signs of improper storage, or stored laying down.

Most concentrate products show signs of sugaring, a typical effect that happens to concentrate cannabis when stored for long periods.

Services: At time of writing the business is cash and Debit only. But does have an open air ATM for your use, given a fee.

Using a card will net you a $4.00 fee at the counter and an ATM transaction will cost $4.50

This business does offer several forms of product including edibles, pre-rolls, cannabis flower, hashish, and tincture.

There are two points of sale, with fairly knowledgeable staff that are willing to help. The interior is neutral colors and a minimalist design, lined with shelving to display product and information.

Prices: The prices here are a little more expensive than in other areas. Hopefully that is remedied over time.

Conclusion: Overall, Brownies scores a 3/5 stars. We believe that while the store is new, it has some growing pains to work through and address.

Pros: OK selection, friendly staff, quick services, prompt ID verification.

Cons: poor quality consistency in brands, misleading pricing, a bit expensive for the same products as other dispenserarys...

Made an order of $131 for delivery (minimum of 100 for delivery orders), was called an hour and a half later, and told my location was too far of a distance and that they didn't deliver after 30 miles, which is entirely understandable. A policy is a policy.

However, my location isn't 30 miles or more from the location. Upon explaining such, I was told they could deliver tomorrow (I won't be around. Besides that, now it's all of a sudden doable tomorrow?) Not to mention, the cost of my order was mentioned in a manner that alluded that my purchase amount wasn't worth the distance for delivery; Am I not a paying customer? Have I not met the order criteria listed on the website?

I'm not one who has a tendency to complain, especially with workers who deal with the public, but it gave off the impression that the person simply didn't want to make the delivery tonight despite it being placed hours before close.

I'll continue to take my business to another dispensary in the area, literally 15 minutes away from Brownies, as I've never had a hassle from their business, and they've got a dramatically smaller...

Location is a nightmare to get in and out of in a very busy area. Tiny, cramped parking lot. I stood blocked in the the claustrophobic doorway waiting to be checked in because the staff was too busy chatting and blocking the tiny entryway.

I then went in and got a half gram cartridge when I ordered a full gram via the website, due to their mistake. Called and the staff refused to rectify the situation properly. This place is by far the worst dispensary I've been to in New York. You're honestly better off driving to Massachusetts at this point.
