I need to go back and try them again. When I went, it was later in the evening. It’s unclear as always at these hours just how fresh the pizza was that was being reheated for slices. They weren’t bad slices. The crust was not my favorite. And what I mean by that is the back crust. After you finish the pizza, can I still eat the crust that’s left over? Some are so distasteful I wonder what the rest of the pizza would have been like if the crust had been better. The cheese and sauce also felt a little bit off. Once again depends on how long it had been sitting there. But the reason I say that I need to go back, was because it was just good enough that I want to try some fresh slices. Superb! Did the quest to find the best pizza in Colonie come to an end? We certainly have options in the area when it comes to family owned pizza spots. Did we need another? Colonie Towne Pizza opened its doors this week and said, "Hold my beer!" A great tasting sauce on a true artisan crust and they didn't skimp on the cheese. A skeptical stop for lunch and we were greeted with a family friendly vibe. The NY slice had zero flop. The crisp crust held strong and had the perfect thickness. The sauce was what you wanted, savory and full of flavor. We ended up enjoying it so much we got a sicilian style for dinner. I've tried all the local spots, I love NY, La familia, All in the family, Prima, and Inferno. We have a new top spot in my book. It's superior pizza at a better price point than the competition....

Yesterday we stopped by to try their pizza. We got a sausage and veggie slice and a chicken bacon slice. They offered us garlic knots as well and we couldn't say no to them. This place actually gives you WARM marinara sauce with the WELL seasoned and tasty garlic knots. The pizza is perfect, not to thick, not to thin, not floppy, just a perfect crisp pizza.

When I first walked in I noticed how clean everything is. The floors, tables, walls, counters, bathrooms from top to bottom everything was clean! Like I always say I love when employees are very respectful and their customer service is great.

The food was ready to go and reheated and very good. Because this place is very clean and the customer service was fantastic.
