At the recommendation of a friend, I took my daughters prom dress in to be fitted. The seamstress took measurements all around before taking the dress. Prom day came and we picked up the dress. We realized that the dress was only hemmed and not brought in as requested. There wasn't enough time to make the adjustment. I went to pay for the service and was shocked that I was charged $50 for a hem! My daughter enjoyed her prom inspite having to hold her dress up slightly through out night. I've been searching for someone to alter my jeans for years. I've been to a bunch of places in the area and most seemed off-put when I asked them to alter my jeans and pants. My first time in, I was welcomed very warmly and by both Bridget and Barbara. They are both extremely pleasant and the work I've had done has been very reasonably priced. I brought my first two pairs in last week and liked them so much I brought in another five today.
