I never purchase a vehicle from Maguire until 3 yrs ago a 2009 Chevy Malibu, it was a 🍋. Served us right and did good for the first year. After 2 yrs we had to replace the transmission among lots of other small parts. Not what you want when buying a car...like to at least get 5 years out of it without putting thousands of dollars into it to get it fixed. This pass week our car pretty much became undrivable and unsafe because it would only go at the highest speed of 20 mph. We had come to the conclusion the catalytic converter was bad after 2 months of fighting all these codes to the check engine light and kept taking it to the garage. We were trying to fix the issues ourselves because Maguire refused to help us with the transmission figure be the same result. We broke down last friday and had it towed to them decided we had enough and our taking this problem to Maguire when then they again said they could do nothing to fix the Catalytic Converter.We decided here this pass week we were done with this lemon but I still owe 6800. I try so hard to give Maguire a chance to make us happy and resolve this issue. After 7 days of trying to work somthing out with them we almost traded in for a 2018 journey but 2500 was all they were willing to give for trade and at this point I lost trust in them of the quality vehicle they were to sell me as we already seen issues in this 2018 automobile too. We walked out yesterday very unhappy. We wanted at lease half what we owed for trade. I had heard good things about this dealership so I decided to do an auto loan request for credit to see if I could be approved to purchase a vehicle as I have always wanted an SUV. They never called me I had to call them and I talked to service they took down my name and number and I was called back about an hour later the man I received the call from was rude, arrogant and rotten to the core. Speaking to me in a stern voice and saying that I would need to pull credit and I had to come into the shop to get that done. I've had other people within this company pull my credit his name is Mr, Landon and he was just rotten not the nicest the person going and being difficult then he lied to me. Said he would have his manager call me back and that never happened. I am disgusted with this conduct as well as making it difficult for me to purchase a vehicle from these people. I wasn't having the best day and his attitude made it even more difficult to address there's a lot of other car people to get vehicles from so I will be looking elsewhere. I don't got time to deal with a bad attitude or a stern voice your paid to sell vehicles instead of doing his job and being courteous to me he made it more difficult by being rude. I have a savings account of $15,000 dollars for a down payment and said I was paid generously and this is the direction he chose to take this in. Shameful. Read moreWe are a family of many vehicles. We have used many dealerships in our time. This dealership and specifically Richie Scott are fabulous to work with. No endless sales pitches on extended warranties etc. He knew we had done our homework, where we wanted to be number wise and he cut all of the middle BS out and gave us our numbers. We purchased right away. On our two hour drive home we noticed a sound under the hood - It took WEEKS (nearly a month) to get a full evaluation through Chrysler (at no fault of Maguires) - during that time Richie delivered us a replacement vehicle to use while our new truck was in the shop. Chrysler was jerking us around and didn't seem to want to do right by us after finding metal shavings while breaking down the motor. Maguires did not hesitate for one second at taking back our recent purchase. Richie went above and beyond helping us locate other trucks, getting them moved to his facility and making endless calls about the implications on our current & new loans and the GAP coverage we had purchased. They even allowed us ample time to test drive another truck before 100% deciding we would purchase it, as to avoid a similar situation to the one we were in.
