One of the many jewels of Sag Harbor Village. This is a family friendly beach with bathrooms, showers, playground equipment, BBQ grill, and bathrooms with a terrific view out to Cedar Point Lighthouse, Barcelona Point, Mashomuck Preserve on Shelter Island, and the yachts moored in the harbor. The water is relatively shallow for quite a distance out from the beach making it safer for younger children and has a designated swim area where power boats are not allowed. If you are driving, be aware that this is a Sag Harbor Village beach that is "permit required" so you will need to purchase a village resident permit or a non resident permit which are sold at the attendant's shack at the entrance to the beach. Great view of the harbor and the boats and a public bathroom is available depending on the season. However the place often does have a large amount of dog poop scattered around due to people not cleaning up after their dogs. Also there is a drainage pipe that enters into the water here, which is something you should consider before you go swimming here. The beach also requires a Sag Harbor Village beach sticker to park in the on season, which is something only people who live in the village can get for the residents taxpayer price, so if you live in noyac for example, you will not be allowed to park here during the summer without paying a hefty...
