My bike was making a troubling noise when I put peddled, and both I and Sag Harbor Cycle thought it would be a straightforward fix. The problem was none of the obvious suspects, and even though it was a busy time in late August, they stayed with it over the course of a few days, and with two or three mechanics trying to diagnose the problem and fix it, including two or three times they rode the bike to try to find the source of the problem and check if they had fixed i. I really needed it, and was afraid they would give it back to me, saying they couldn’t find it and they can’t put any more time into it during the high season. But they stayed with it and fix the problem, and the labor charge was remarkably small. I bought a Cannondale bicycle for over $600 from this shop 3 weeks ago. After riding the bicycle around the neighborhood, I noticed that the back wheel needed to be aligned. I brought it in and Jason took the bike. He told me to stop by later and pick it up. No request for name or discussion of a fee. When I came back the next morning to pick it up, there was a different guy who at first didn't know about the bike and then when he found it asked for $21.65, even though I told him we had just purchased it at his shop 3 weeks ago. Sag Harbor Cycle is my favorite bike shop!! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and always greet their clients with a smile. The shop itself is spacious and very clean, they have a wide variety of bikes and other gear(even healthy snacks!)…excellent selection for all levels of your cycling needs.
