My girlfriend and I had an airbnb stay about 2 min drive away from Harbor Market & Kitchen. We’ve been cravin lobster rolls for a few months and we ran into this spot in the morning. We stepped in and immediately the place was super cozy and beautifully curated with a bunch of interesting and really cool items consisting of books, home goods, souvenirs, grocery needs, snacks etc. Unfortunately their lobster rolls werent being sold currently as it was considered out of season, but we decided to grab other food to make the best of it. We both ordered the HMK breakfast sandwich one with bacon and the other with ham. We were really blown away by how great it was. The quality of the ingredients used were amazing, you can really taste the freshness of each bite. We also ordered 2 iced lattes with oatmilk which was good too! The staff was super friendly, when we were told about the lobster rolls being unavailable we asked one of the workers for any recommendations since we were from out of town and he gave some suggestions for other spots which we thought was super kind to help satisfy our cravings lmao. The market itself is placed cozily in a very quiet/cute neighborhood with no trouble for parking and a very walkable distance from other sag harbor shopping stores. Their public restroom is available and it was clean and tidy as well. Our first experience was nothing but positive vibes, we decided to come back the following evening to try grab sandwiches to bring back to our airbnb for dinner. We arrived about 430 towards end of day for them and we asked for a turkey and salumi sandwich. Unfortunately their sandwich are only prepared earlier in the day and are only available as a grab and go style on display at the counter. So whatever is available will be wrapped up already, and the only sandwiches left were their roasted eggplant. Once again, we decided to make the best of what was available so we grabbed 2 of them, and also a brownie. Few hours have gone by and we popped our sandwiches in the toaster oven for dinner. WE WERE BLOWN AWAY BY THE HIGH QUALITY OF THE SANDWICH. Ive only had eggplant parm sandwiches so my first thought of ever trying a roasted eggplant sandwiches was that it was going to be average. I was really impressed by how tasty it was. My girlfriend and i couldnt shut the F up about how delicious it was we wanted moreee. The following morning we checked out of our airbnb at 930am, and before we drove back for the ride home we decided to head back to the market once again lmao. When we arrived one of the cashiers recognized us and asked if we found our new favorite spot and we immediately said YUP lmao. As before we ordered HMK breakfast sandwiches one with bacon and one with ham, 2 hot oatmilk lattes, and we decided to buy 3 sandwiches to have for dinner at home. We ended up purchasing their turkey, salumi, and another roasted eggplant lmaoo. And once again we were both blown away by the flavorful high quality ingredients used for the sandwiches. Out of the 3 we purchased we both agreed the salumi sandwich was our favorite. Side note, we bought the sandwiches in the morning, put them in the fridge during the day, and for dinner time we put the sandwiches in the oven to a good temp to make the bread crispy which is a key move! Our experience with Harbor Market & Kitchen has been extremely positive down from the high presentation of its store, high quality ingredients and warm friendly nature from all of its employees. I read a few reviews about the bad service from the employees but from someone that has worked in customer service for 10+ years, i can only say that service workers are a reflection of their store. With a beautiful store with such high standards, it shows from the help they provide. My girlfriend got nothing but great positive vibes from the staff. Hopefully other customers follow the same practice of “treat others the way you want to be treated.” All in all, AMAZING EXPERIENCE! Totally worth our drive from Queens Ny, we want to come back soon to try other food items

I really hate to leave this kind of review, especially as a local who orders from Harbor Market regularly. But today’s experience was disappointing. I placed a takeout order through their website and ordered the avocado toast. What I received was honestly sad—and I’m including photos so others can see the difference. There were no utensils or napkins in the bag, and the toast itself looked nothing like what they advertise. Please compare the first photo (their advertised version) with the second (what I received). I understand things can get busy, but this kind of inconsistency isn’t acceptable—especially for a place that usually does better. Leaving one star - based on todays experience.

First time stopping here because my other fav seafood shop was closed for the season. Glad I planned ahead, this place is wonderful. I love this open air industrial design, it's welcoming, warm and practical. Menus wise there's a good variety of take out or eat in drink, food and bakery choices, staff are cool and extra helpful- geniunely nice and friendly (young Latino guy at register esp) always hustling and seem happy.. and the bonus is beautiful (if slightly pricey) cool design goodies (Japanese made tool box, canvas bags etc) and unique home and kitchen design items tucked into a side area.

Happy to see snuggly corner booth seating to enjoy my lunch (taco trio) and delicious coffee, but it's limited.. consider take out and eating in the park if it's full up during high tourist season/after Memorial Day. (Cute picnic tables benches outside would be a hit if restaurant owners don't already don't offer it!)

Can't wait to return to try more food offerings, there was a wide variety that will please any craving. Prices tilt to the higher end but it's worth it for the quality and that employees are paid fairly.

And ignore the bad reviews pulling down the ratings- jerky local high school teens left them to harass specific staff, their reviews have been reported....

I loved the lobster roll here. I don't eat the bread so I can't speak about that but the lobster meat was so sweet and tender. They used only claw meat in mine which I prefer over tail meat. I find the tail is often chewy. So I was so impressed with the claw meat. They have a very light butter sauce on it instead of heavy mayo and it's $20 compared to $30 to $35 for the lobster rolls everywhere else in town. So I don't know why people are complaining about the prices here I find this place much less expensive than other places in town. The only issue I had was that I called an hour ahead to place my order since it's only pick-up. I told them exactly when I was going to be there and was there on time but my food was cold. The butter had hardened and fries were cold. I figured they would have planned the time better and had it nice and warm. They also didn't add utensils or napkins and I assumed that was in the bag so by the time I opened everything it was too late. Next time I won't call ahead. But will...
